Top 5 in out house
"Outfoxed" is a delightful and easy-to-learn board game that’s perfect for children. The rules are straightforward, making it accessible for kids, and it encourages collaborative play. Players work together to identify the suspect before the fox reaches the end of the path, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills. Both my 6-year-old and 9-year-old equally enjoy playing it, and it’s become a favorite for quick and engaging family game nights. What sets this game apart is its cooperative nature—players strategize together to outsmart the fox, which is a refreshing change from the highly competitive games often available. This aspect of teamwork makes it a wonderful addition to any game collection, especially for families looking to promote collaboration and fun.

Perfect First Board Game for Young Kid
Outfoxed! has quickly become a favorite in our house, especially with my five-year-old son. The game is easy to learn, engaging, and just the right length—each round takes about 15–20 minutes, which is perfect for young attention spans. What really stands out is how well the game introduces logical thinking and deduction in a fun, cooperative way. Kids learn to make simple calculations, eliminate possibilities, and make decisions together, all without feeling overwhelmed. There’s no reading required, and the rules are straightforward enough that kids can start playing almost immediately. We love that it’s fully cooperative—our whole family of four can play together, work as a team, and celebrate wins (or losses!) without frustration. The theme and artwork are charming, and the gameplay encourages discussion and reasoning, which makes it both educational and entertaining. Overall, Outfoxed! is an excellent first board game for a five-year-old and a great choice for families looking for something fun, quick, and thoughtfully designed for young kids. Highly recommended.

Great for all ages!
This is such a cute game. We have a 4 year old and an 8 year old and they love it! It doesn’t take long, so they stay engaged and interested. It teaches them to pay attention to the clues so they can try to figure out which fox is responsible! The adults even enjoyed it. The decoder slider box is a great touch. My four year old loved revealing the clues.

Fun for everyone
This game is so much fun for the whole family, which is good because my kids wanted to play it all the time. It's cooperative so everyone is playing on the same side and helping to beat the fox (which also means no tears). The game can sort of be graded up or down so there are ways for younger kids to participate but still keep parents and older children engaged. Solving the mystery is enjoyable and kept me entertained. It's a different game every time. The game goes pretty quickly...maybe 15 minutes. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a rare game that can keep kids of different ages and parents entertained.

Great
Outfoxed is a great game - colorful and well-designed, with pieces that feel sturdy and kid-friendly. It’s easy to learn, which makes it perfect for younger kids, but still fun enough for adults to join in. The gameplay encourages teamwork and thinking, and it’s a nice way to spend quality time as a family. Definitely worth it for the price.

Mystery game without a murder!!!
This game is so much fun!!! My child who is 5 years old all the way up to my mom, who is in her 70s loved this game! It’s easy to grasp and we loved that we got to work together instead of competing. The artwork is cute and the replay ability is great! It’s different Eve try time which is wonderful! This is one of the best games I own and way better than the regular overplayed games you find at the store.

The best kids board game!
This is my 5 year old’s favorite game. She loves how easy it is and the interactive pieces. It is easy enough she can explain it, but fun enough I enjoy it as an adult (and not just because my kids are playing it). We play this game all the time and it doesn’t get old. Rounds aren’t too long and you can usually play a few games before the kids want to stop.

Absolutely great game, easy to play, my daughter 6.5 years learnt the rules in a few rounds and asked to play this game non stop :) What I loved most is that its a team work, nobody loses, nobody wins = no cries. Very satisfied with the quality of materials

My kids (ages 6-12) all love to play this together. They get so excited to look at the new clues, and there's real tension when they're deciding what to do next. Plus, it's nice to have a cooperative board game, instead of one where everyone is "versus" each other. Recommended for anyone with kids in the house.

Great co-op game to play with kids. I'd say it's also suitable for 4 year old. Gets played at least once a day.
