I bought this hoping it would soften my new split adjustable bed. My husband loves the bed, but it’s way too firm for me. While this doesn’t cool as I would like, I tend to be super hot so it’s probably fine for most people. The price is good, the quality nicer than expected, and it fits perfectly. It does add about an extra almost inch compared to my husband’s side, and I can tell it’s softer than without anything. Stays in place well. I’ll still probably buy a topper to make my side extra soft, but will keep this as well. It doesn’t move around and sheets fit better with it in place.

Cooling and cozy mattress protection. This mattress protection has multiple functions and helps to keep bed cool as well as being waterproof. The topper is soft and offers an extra layer of comfort on the mattress. It offers no firmness on the mattress. There is no lingering smell in the product or noise when you move on the bed. This product is super easy to install and even something you can easily throw in washing machine.

My son and I just got back from the CMP National Match at Camp Perry. This year we stayed in base housing and had been warned that the foam mattresses left a lot to be desired. I got a couple of these mattress pads and we were both glad we had them. The very firm foam mattresses were still very firm but this mattress pad put a soft layer between me and the vinyl-clad military mattress. I slept very well. The sheets stayed put. My son was so impressed that he's taking his back to college this fall. This easily fit on the "Twin XL" mattresses provided. They do arrive rolled and compressed. Once they decompress, they take on the quilted appearance. I washed them before and after the trip and they've held up well. If anything, the first trip through the washer and dryer helped puff it up even more. This is NOT memory foam and it will not add anything appreciable to mattress thickness. This just adds a pillowy layer between your bottom sheet and the top of the mattress. If you've ever slept on an institutional vinyl-clad foam mattress, you'll appreciate why that's important. I can't recommend it enough.

What am I missing? I purchased for the cooling. This bombed out big time! So as for - Soft. 5-stars. Stay put, 0-stars. Cooling, 0-stars. Quality 5-stars. Looks. At first appearance it looks great. After putting it in my mattress, it’s a hot mess. Don’t stay put, bunches up in a wad under neath you. As for cooling the reason I purchased it, if anything when I’m sleeping on it I am hotter. There is no cooling effects to this mattress pad. Mattress protection it’s great. Pain relief wouldn’t that be a blessing. Sorry - not a happy camper either this mattress pad!

Purchased this mattress topper to replace an older one. We really like this one much better, the bed is much more comfortable and the temperature appears better balanced. So far this topper looks like a good value and option

I put a heated mattress pad on the mattress, and bought a different mattress topper pad to cover it so you wouldn't feel the wires. It turned out to be a fairly thin mattress topper pad, and the wires were still somewhat noticeable, so I bought this mattress pad to put over the other one (and use them both.) This one is thick enough that it may have covered the wires well enough by itself, but I went ahead and used both since I had them. This one is very plush feeling and soft & thick, the sides don't seem all that deep but it did cover my mattress easily, but if you have an extra thick mattress, it may just cover it. It goes just a bit down over the edges all the way around, so you won't feel the edge of the pad when sleeping. It is a very nice mattress pad & I am really happy with it!

I'd recently been using a thick foam topper and tried this one to see if it was cooler; it wasn't. This product is not bad, it is cool when you first lay down and doesn't retain too much heat so it is bearable; but compared to my old foam topper, I think the air bubbles in my previous foam topper did a better job at heat dispersion.

Not particularly cooling but very, very comfortable. Adds a perfect extra layer and I am about to purchase another one for my guest room.
