Bandai Hobby - Gundam 00 - Gundam Kyrios, Bandai Spirits MG 1/100 Model Kit

Amazing model kit. Came together great and looks amazing on a desk. Would recommend putting him on an action base but he is more than capable of standing on his own. Colors are amazing out of the box. Looks great with the LED units and a lil panel lining. Transforming gimmick works very well and its very articulated and poseable.

Normally im not a fan of the color orange but Kyrios is an exception plus i love the design and its a really solid build that doesn't compromise itself with its transforming feature too but its not perfect. The small wings on the legs can fall out so be mindful of them and the shield im not gonna sugarcoat it the connection point for it i feel should've had more thought put into cause its just 2 short little clips and it loves to just fall out. That aside still a great kit and the kyrios design is pretty standout imo with the bright orange and overall aircraft like lines it has making it look more then like another mech but like a mech and a fighter aircraft were combined.

I'll start with my complaints. My box was warped and crunched a fair bit on one side. Given how well my shipping box was packaged though, it's clear this damage was either from during the import for resale or it was damaged in storage. This did lead to a few pieces snapping off the runner before I cut all the spokes. The box also wasn't sealed, though it wasn't missing any parts or decals. The shield falls off the kit a bit too easy, my only complaint about the kit itself. The kit itself is a gem. It's a 2020 kit, using the 2019 MG Dynames frame as much as possible. This gives it much of the same phenomenal stability and range of motion. And it feels like a modern kit. The plastic is nicer, Most (sadly not all) of the nubs are placed in ways that hides them, and the undergating helps give some extra detailing and color separation. You'll want to clean the nubs up a bit to ensure parts attach well, and of course the ones that are in more visible spots should be handled with care. The darker plastics do still scuff easy when cutting or sanding nubs. The colors are killer, but especially the orange. This isn't your normal cheese puffs orange plastic. It's not cheap looking Nerf orange. It's orange plastic that looks grand. Especially in natural daylight. The holographic slide in GN wiring look nice in the light, the color correcting stickers are good and very few in number, and the waterslide decals look very sharp. Kit is fully transformable, sits on the stand well in both ship and Gundam shapes, and I really can't recommend it enough.

Great model kit. This is the perfect size for displaying. I really enjoy being able to add led lights to these. I used magnetic wireless lights to make it easy to turn on rather than having to take the whole backpack unit out to turn the leds on like with normal led lights. It is packed with weapons and an easy kit to paint and build. You get your moneys worth with this kit for sure. It does take up a decent amount of space as the shoulders are rather out there and the knee fin stick out a bit as well. It is also really cool that this is a two in one kit. You can have it in either the plane mode or the mech mode like I display mine. It is a kit everyone should build at least once.

This was only $55?? This is easily the best value I've ever gotten from a gunpla model. I've paid twice the price for models with parts that constantly fall off or are loose/wobbly. Kyrios is absolutely solid. The parts truly feel like they're master grade. All the pieces come together with a juicy snap that tells me they're stable. Poseability is excellent as the parts have a wide range of motion, and the arms and legs don't show a tendency to come off while trying to pose. The weapons actually stay in his hands, and the hands/fingers don't constantly fall off when I try to attach guns/beam sabers like with some of the Gundam Wing EW series models I've built. I definitely would like to check out the other Gundam 00 models after such a positive experience.

I enjoyed building the kit but the posing I found difficult with the extended knees and big geometric armament. There’s not many options when setting up the end result.

Second master grade. First was Virtue. To start, the build quality was really good. The plastic felt great. There are also very few exposed gates that need to be shaved down. Once built, the articulation is really nice and panel lining it is really easy. It's also not a hand grenade: it won't explode if you drop it. That said, please get this thing a stand! I love the 00 mobile suits and hope more of them get master grades in this type. That said, I didn't think I'd enjoy Kyrios as much as I did. This thing is awesome!
