Igloo Classic Playmate Coolers | Insulated Hard Shell Cooler Chest

igloo never fails to impress, even in this small little cooler. I like to have nice cold water when I am sitting in for a long gaming session to stay hydrated, and what I like to do, is freeze a couple bottles of it, and use this as "ice packing" and place a couple unfrozen bottles on top to keep them nice and cold. By the time I finish the unfrozen bottles the ones underneath are just starting to melt, so I get super ice cold water once I start tapping into those. I like that it is so small, as it doesn't take up a lot of space in my room, and it has a nice sleek design making it look attractive. the handle is nice and sturdy and te built in locking mechanism allows for secure transportation. The way I use it, I don't really have to worry about it leaking, though, I suspect if you had regular ice in there, it MAY leak a bit if tipped over. Overall though, the functionality of this little cooler is top notch, and seems to be able to fit in most hiking backpacks if needed.

Great, perfect size for all my husband’s things plus his lunch. He had another one just like this and it lasted over 30 years. It went to work with my husband everyday. Easy to haul around. Not too big or small. It keeps his lunch cold and the nice red color is easy to spot on the construction site. He was happy to get a new one.

Small but nice.

My fiance really liked having one of these small coolers when she was younger. She put it in her wish list and wanted me to get her one for Christmas. I did. She does a lot of conventions and wanted something like this so she could take with her to keep drinks and some food in during the day. Also, when we take short trips, she takes it with us every time. It's been great. Keeps things cold. insulation seems good, thickness is nice, handle is solid overall the quality is nice and it stores pretty easily. No complaints here.

It is a great cooler, however, there is a little small, but still fits all the necessities inside. The only thing that I would change about. It is the fact that the button is a little bit hard to press down on the side, especially if you have nails. Also, it doesn’t do much for keeping anything cold or hot. It’s just pretty much a container.

I really like this. It’s a good size for me not too big not too little holes. My water good keeps my water cold with some ice packs and I really like the new way it opens.

These coolers are a lot like porridge some are too small, some are too big others are just right. Welp, this one is too small. What it IS good at is functiong as a cooler for 6 cans sure but also "Mini adult beverages". No a full size 16 oz bottle wont fit. Dont bother. In terms of size and portability its perfect in that regard. Easily fits behind a backseat of a car. Keeps items cool, butyou also have to make an effort to keep it in a cool area. I wish this was like 7qts or so. but not as 0bvious as a 9.

My husband had a playmate in red for nearly 30 years and the locking function on the cover had been broken for the last 10 years but he kept using it. Purchased this as a Christmas present and the smile on his face when he saw it made me think why hadn’t I done it sooner! He absolutely loves it and loves the sturdy handle and the working lock so it doesn’t slide open when carrying.
