I thought this looked like a nice piece in the photos but it looks even better in person. It’s well made and sturdy enough for two people to sit on as a bench. Color-wise, it’s not a bright white but more like a very very pale gray. The wood grain design is well done and dresses it up a bit. Assembly was easy. I did it by myself and it took 20-25 minutes all-in after laying out the pieces, reviewing the instructions and putting everything together. I used a power tool but a manual screwdriver would add a few minutes to the assembly time. I bought this to replace another box made of different material that got obliterated by two Florida summers. At first blush, I feel like this one is going to fare much better.

First the box is a little heavy, you might need some help with it. I did not, but it depends on your ability to lift heavier products. I laid out all the pieces and watched the video on YouTube to put it together, but the directions are also pretty good. The pieces all snapped together. Please be sure to wear some gloves when you are putting the metal bars in the lid. This is the second one I put together so it took me less time but the first time it took me about 45 minutes. It took me only 20 minutes the second time. It says water resistant, but I can tell you right now, these are waterproof , I have these on my patio and we have had a lot of monsoon rain and everything is dry. I have my grandkids toys in the bin and they are put into smaller bins, but they are not wet at all and the entire deck box is dry. It also can serve as a seat .I have had two or three grandchildren on it. It can hold at least one adult or two smaller adults on it no problem just make sure you put those bars in it.. Extremely happy with this purchase. This was the second one I purchased and if needed I would purchase a third. I also told my family about this so my daughter is about to buy one for her patio. Fantastic purchase.! great value for the money. You don’t need to spend more than this one this one will do more than most..

Unboxed all the pieces and started the assembly (by myself), Each part was clearly marked with the part number and instructions were clear and easy to follow. Placed the metal bars in the slots - using a soft mallet to get them all the way down (due to arthritis in hands) no problem. Clicked in the side pieces easy peasy. Thought the long front and back pieces would be harder doing it by myself, but again, easy peasy. Then came the latches for the opening and shutting of the lid. No worries, you can't go wrong because they worked on either side. Screwed in the latch for the top lid and then the easy assembly of the outside lock. Waited for it to rain before the review and again didn't disappoint. Not a drop of water inside. It makes such a difference for all the pool toys my grandchildren have. Those large noodles, no problem fit right in. Towels, toys, basketballs etc., no more chaos around the pool and easy for them to get their stuff in and out of the deck box. Looks great!! Couldn't be happier

This thing is HUGE. I bought it to store my high-backed patio chair cushions over winter. Otherwise squirrels shred them. In the picture of the inside you can see a few things pushed to the right - all the empty space fits my cushions with ease. I’ll have no trouble fitting all 10 cushions. The hydraulic hinges are a great touch. So is the front locking mechanism- which lines up nicely. The box is sturdy enough to sit on or act as a table. Assembly was a cinch for my husband - a power drill was all he used. I can’t attest to it’s weatherproofing, as it sits under a covered patio in the shade. The one bad thing about this is that it doesn’t line up all the way in the back to create a good seal. I’m worried mice might get in - I may have to stick some peppermint oil in there to deter them. Another thing is that the walls are somewhat thin plastic. Determined rodents will chew through with no problem, and really harsh southern sun may warp it. I’m happy with this product and I’m glad I bought it. Looking forward to keeping my cushions squirrel- free this coming spring.

Really nice looking, large box, although I did not take a picture. Right now it is holding 4 long pool lounge chair cushions, 3 seat/back chair cushions and 4 seat cushions, but could hold more, I could sleep in it. It was, however, missing one important piece - an end cap on the side of the lid by the hinge. Important in that I got the box to be air tight so no spiders, etc. could get in. We just covered the opening with white duct tape and it's fine, but we have no idea how that piece was left off, or was shipped without it as it was an obvious omission (and it was not loose in the box). I still give the container 5 stars re size, durability, looks (pretty knotted wood pattern). It's solid and can definitely hold the weight of a few people sitting on top as displayed in the pictures too.

Sturdy storage and fairly easy to put together. I recommend assembling with a partner but it could be done by one person. Read instructions carefully. we accidentally skipped a step and had to undo part of it - it was incredibly difficult to take apart.

This is amazing and I think a reasonable price. The storage amount is great. We needed it for outdoor hoses, etc over winter. My husband and I put this together in an hour (we took our time). The directions are pictures and are pretty clear for the most part. Just take your time and pay attention to the angles, etc in the pictures. Note: my husband and are NOT handy and we do NOT work well together - but no problem with this! Highly recommend. It’s very stylish looking as well. I also like that you can lock it. Note we put pavers down underneath to protect from the weed wacker

Not a lot of pieces to put together. Took 1&1/2 hours to assemble. Good quality. Assembly instructions could be improved.
