Easy setup and stable operation
I use the adapter to connect an Ethernet only device to my Wi-Fi network. Setup was very easy and pretty straight forward although it does help if you know a little bit about computers and networks. Once set up the connection is stable and does not require additional attention. Range, power and speed are adequate for my needs. The distance from the Wi-Fi router to the adapter is about 70 ft across two rooms operating at a 2.4 GHz band.

Works Excellent.
Awesome product! Replaced an old unit of MUCH lesser quality. I have this unit in a cabinet with the door closed and it is working flawlessly. Easy setup, having antennas is a huge factor. All around a very satisfied customer.

So far works good.
So far so good, easy to use and quick to connect. Recommended by chatGPT and it works so far. I do not want to mess around with new technology but this one seems not that advance, which is what I like.

Good, easy to use
I got a free repurposed computer that I set up in the spare bedroom. Since my router is in the living room this WiFi to ethernet adapter looked like a good solution for connecting that computer to my internet network. Despite the extremely easy set-up, my initial impression of this product wasn't good because while it did work I was getting slow internet speeds despite the WiFi signal being very strong. The fix was easy but didn't occur to me until after I wasted time with extensive troubleshooting even though it was actually the first or second thing that I should have tried. That's on me obviously but first set-up. I only needed to plug this into an outlet near my router, press the WPS switch on the router, then press the WPS switch on this adapter. In less than 30 seconds the indicator light showed that the adapter was connected to my network. Once connected I unplugged the adapter and moved it into the room where I needed to use it. In less than a minute the indicator showed that it was again connected to my network and I hooked the adapter up to my computer with an ethernet cable. I had internet. Unfortunately, the internet I had was slow. I tried streaming an Amazon Prime movie and it froze several times until Amazon switched to streaming in standard definition. To troubleshoot I tested the signal strength at the outlet where this WiFi to ethernet adapter was plugged in using an Android utility on my phone and the WiFi signal was very strong. I then experimented with connecting this to an extension cord instead of directly to the wall outlet and moving the adapter higher up to different shelves on either side of the computer desk but that made no difference because the problem wasn't with WiFi signal strength. I changed settings inside my router to prioritize the ethernet WiFi adapter. I temporarily moved the computer into the living room and connected it directly to my router to verify that the ethernet card wasn't bad. I finally decided the problem had to be the adapter so I gave this product a less-than-glowing review. Then a few days later I realized I'd missed one of the most obvious troubleshooting steps which was to power cycle my modem and router and low and behold the internet speed I was getting went from not being fast enough to stream anything in HD to fast enough to stream 8K video--the speed I was roughly the same as on my primary computer connected directly to the router via ethernet cable. The speed with this adapter has been stable and consistent in the three days since I did the power cycle so what had been a disappointing product suddenly gave me better internet speed than I ever expected before making the purchase. Unless something goes south in the near future (in which case I will update my review again) this appears to be an excellent option if you need WiFi internet on an ethernet-only device. Set-up is fast and easy via WPS (the manufacturer sent me an alternate non-WPS installation method but since power-cycling fixed my issue I didn't end up trying it). I can't say if this actually gets 1200Mbps because my internet service isn't that fast but I am getting roughly the same speed as on my devices directly connected to my modem via ethernet. If you do experience disappointing internet speeds after setting this up then try what I forgot to do and power-cycle your modem and router which is a simple process that takes just a few minutes.

my fault.
I have no idea about the quality of the product. Apparently I misunderstood what the product could be used for. So I cannot speak about the product itself. However I can say the instructions were so full of technical terms and acronyms that I gave up . I tried the video thinking it might be easier to follow but if anything it was even worse. So I made the mistake of thinking the product would do what I wanted so that is my fault. In any case it is useless to me and I will probably end up throwing it away.

Does what it claims, solved a problem.
I gave it five stars because it does exactly what it claims and what I needed it to do—it allowed me to hook up an older printer that only had insecure WPS for WiFi to a modern WiFi 6 network without WPS. I do wish there was a way to turn off the range extender feature completely, but for those complaining about this device being a range extender, let me explain why it kind of has to be. If they removed the range extender function from it, there would be no way for you to configure the device from a phone unless they also added Bluetooth. It has to transmit either over WiFi or Bluetooth, or you would not be able to log in to the device from a phone. A few of us still have Ethernet capable laptops, but most people do not, so they need a wireless connectivity option. Bluetooth would solve it but would add cost. I did hide the networks and after hiding them, technically it is still broadcasting but any interference seems to be minimal because none of my nearby WiFi devices saw any loss in connectivity. I suppose your mileage may very. Now, what I used it for. We have an old Canon Pro-100 series printer. Old but still functions well, so we did not want to replace it. It's in a room with a brand new WiFi access point in the ceiling, but no Ethernet jacks. With our old Netgear WiFi equipment, this printer was available as a network printer on the 2.4 GHz band configured via WPS. When that netgear equipment started to fail, I switched to a TP-Link Omada system. TP-Link Omada does not offer WPS WiFi configuration because quite frankly, it's insecure and should never have been part of WiFi in the first place. The printer does have a 10/100 Ethernet jack. With this device, I was able to configure it to connect to the new 5GHz WiFi access point and run a Cat6 patch cable from this device to the printer. Everything on our home network that needs to use it was able to discover it via Bonjour protocol and can print using it. Thus, this device saved us from needing to buy a new color printer just because we updated our WiFi network. And the setup was extremely easy. The only possibly confusing part was hiding the range extender SSIDs which we do not need. So for that, I give it 5 stars.

This BrosTrend wifi adapter worked like a charm ! I got this wifi adapter for two purposes. The first is to use it with my old MacBook Air from 2010 when I need a faster connection (large backups or file transfers). The second was because I wanted to rearrange my home office and my PC doesn't have built-in wifi. The PC is currently connected using an Ethernet cable but where I would be placing the PC would make it difficult to connect by Ethernet. I didn't want to get a long cable and have to run it along several walls. By connecting this simple and affordable wifi adapter, my problem is solved. I want to note that I read the instructions and was careful to load the correct (and up to date) drivers before inserting the USB wifi adapter. This processed worked very well both on my PC (running Windows) and my MacBook Air (running MacOS/OSX). I also made sure to disable the built-in wifi on my MacBook Air so that there wouldn't be any conflicts and issues. I did a quick internet speed test on the laptop with the built-in wifi and then again with the BrosTrend USB 802.11ac Wifi adapter. I was happy to see that using the BrosTrend doubled the speed that I got. Given the price, performance (doubling my internet connection speed) and ease of use, I am very happy with this adapter and feel that warrants a 5 star rating.
