This Stuff Actually Works!!!
This stuff really works! My husband and I can't believe a can of air can have such a positive effect on our 7mo puppy! We've been having barking issues with our puppy, a whippet/red healer mix. She barks at anyone who walks by our home on the street, our neighbors, and don't get me started on visitors. Our poor visitors. When we have people come over she begins to bark and literally won't stop, ever. And she has one of those high pitched barks that stings the ear drums. Although she is very well trained with the typical tricks, extremely smart, very good at listening and learning, and amazing with us and our kids, she gets so involved in her barking when others are around that she won't listen to us, no matter how sweet or stern we are. So, we decided to try this air in a can, and good gawd, this stuff really works!!! She begins to bark and we do one quick press on the can and she immediately stops barking, and shifts her attention to us. Giving us the ability to teach her no. She could be outside, a good 20 ft away, barking through our fence and with one press of this can, she would immediately stop barking and come directly back to us. It has only been about 3 days that we've been using this product and her barking issue is already 80% better. If someone knocks on the door, she'll let out one bark, which is completely acceptable. When we answer the door, she no longer barks at the person outside. We have not yet had a guest over to see her reaction, but I think we're on an amazing road of getting her barking under control. The price seems a little steep for some air in a metal can, but you do get two, each can has 50 shots of air, and with the response we're getting from our dog, the pricing has been completely worth it for us. It's a painless and easy way to train and/or correct puppy issues.

Highly effective
This is a great product. It is highly effective to get your pet’s attention for them to hear your command. The can lasts for a while so it’s a great value for your money. There’s not smell or leakage. Noise level is not overwhelming but loud enough for the pet to look at you.

Effective, First Defense in Stopping a Dog Fight
I originally bought this for training as my dog doesn’t understand no yet, but when I just tested the air itself (not even on him) it scared him so much that he ran into the other room with his tail down, which is super unlike him, so I think it’s much too aversive unless I wanted to stop a dangerous or unsafe behavior. I brought him to meet 2 big dogs of my friends recently and the Great Dane went after my dog (whos a little guy). Fortunately I had this in hand ready just in case and used it within a second so there were no bites or hurts. We reintroduced successfully in a better way and they were even able to be friendly with supervision. I’m glad I had this instead of dog pepper spray (which I also have, but would try to avoid peppering my friend’s dogs!). This is good to keep on you as a first line of defense from dog fights, extremely effective and doesn’t cause any physical harm. I’ve had dog fights that were impossible to break up (redirection, pouring a whole gallon of water during it) that started from seemingly innocent dog behavior, so you never know when things can go sideways. Better safe than sorry to keep this!

I purchased this product after it was recommended in a blog article by a dog trainer
I purchased this product after it was recommended in a blog article by a dog trainer. Amazon.com reviews seemed pretty favorable as well, so I decided to give it a try. We have two barkers in the house we want to have not bark so much. The small Chihuahua mix is Molly. She's our primary problem. Molly is like Samara, only she sleeps just fine. But she does not and will not stop barking once she gets started. Various methods have been tried and all to no avail. She is a tiny, high energy, intensely motivated ball of noise. The Corgi-mix is Humphrey. He likes to bark. He barks at the mail man. People walking past the house. People making noise out of sight in other parts of the house. Bugs. Ghosts. Humphrey, can be stopped from barking, but it takes a minute and some intense effort. So, in order to preserve our sanity, I decided to try the Company of Animals Pet Corrector. The logic behind how it works was sound. It's basically a more intense version of Cesar Milan's "tsch" noise. Humphrey, First Attempt: As soon as he started barking, I blasted the can. A loud, snake-like hiss issued forth. Humphrey's pack brother, Oliver, leaped about 3 feet and then tried to figure out where the noise came from. Lucy crawled into her dog bed and laid down staring mournfully at me. But the affect on Humphrey was the most profound. It utterly sapped his very will to live. Humphrey's tail is ALWAYS up. He is the bounciest, happiest, liveliest little dude you have ever met. But one blast from that can, and he walked across the living room with his tail dragging listlessly on the floor, crawled onto the couch and into my husband's lap, and laid there like he had decided to never move again. He recovered some 5 minutes later when the blast hadn't repeated. Humphrey, Second Attempt: He was utterly defeated. The second round of barking, and a second blast from the can, sent him to the couch again, this time to hide behind me and lay very quiet and still, as if to become invisible from "The Noise That Clearly Hates Corgis". I honestly don't think he barked again the rest of the night. Pet Corrector Vs Humphrey: Pet Corrector Wins. Molly, First Attempt: We brought the problem child out for a test of this seemingly miraculous behavior corrector. Perhaps even the demon dog can be changed! I sent the kids outside, leaving Molly behind, a scenario guaranteed to make her start barking. She of course promptly did, and I blasted the Corrector. This did not go so well. Molly not only barked harder, she became ridiculously aggressive. Hackles up, she proceeded to attack another pack mate, who had to be put in another room for his safety, and so as not to mess up our tests. Meanwhile, Molly is still barking. Molly, Second Attempt: Molly is now frantically running around the living room, hackles up, barking furiously. I trigger a second blast. Oliver, who was startled silly by the Corrector the first two times I blasted it, has now decided to BARK AT IT. Wait, what? Oliver, no! Molly, is not in any way shape or form intimidated by this thing. In fact, she has now declared all out war on the entire house. THAT NOISE BE D****D!! She is charging everyone and everything in sight. Oliver gets in her way, and suddenly this is Sparta. Fortunately, everyone is separated without injury, Molly is put in check, and peace falls upon our house once more. Pet Corrector Vs Molly: Molly Wins, kicks dirt on the can, pees on the dirt, and scrapes her feet to show everyone watching who is BOSS. In summation: Pet Corrector works brilliantly on normal dogs with minor behavioral issues. I highly recommend it for this scenario. Pet Corrector might actually make tiny high-energy spawns of Cerberus worse. I don't recommend it for the Mollys of the world. For those concerned, Humphrey did recover his will to live, and picked his tail up off the ground. :)

Worth the money! Fixed most bad habits within 2 days.
LOVE this product. Highly recommend. PROS, CONS, & TIPS below BAD HABITS THAT IT WORKED ON Digging holes in the yard, Licking the dishes as I load the dishwasher, Barking at other dogs inside the house, barking at dogs/freaking out on a walk, chewing on the leash, barking at robotic vacuum, barking at rakes/brooms. PROS 1) The small size makes very portable and easy to transport or even keep with you 2) Quick and easy deterrent - gets their attention immediately (I don't even have to push the button now, just pick up the can and he will stop) 3) I didn't need to use more than a couple of times on a behavior. He really does not like the noise and does not want to hear it again. CONS 1) You have to use wisely because of the small size, it goes quick. 2) It gets cold if you have to use it multiple times in a row. This wasn't a huge deal but it happened when we were on a walk once and it makes it almost unusable for a minute. Again, not something that would keep me from buying it. TIPS 1) Have on hand during moments when you think they are going to do the bad habit. i.e. I keep it by me when I am doing dishes and my puppy kept trying to lick the plates. I took it with me on car ride trips to stop the whining. Always take with me on walks to use when he sees another dog. 2) Use a firm no voice when doing it but not an angry voice. The sound itself works wonderfully as a deterrent. 3) Set the can down and walk away from it and praise your dog after they have stopped the bad behavior. 4) Maybe make a code word to warn your family when you are going to use it. It scares my kiddos pretty good and anyone else if you aren't expecting it. 5) I have been making the "shhhhhst" sound myself if I don't have it in near me and it gets his attention. Don't know if it will work to change behavior but that noise has definitely been programmed in for him.

Seems to work
My dog is a jumper. She can’t control her excitement when people come over and I was running out of ideas to help get over the jumping. I tried this and it seemed to work. It’s a loud hissing noise. I tested it out before using it just to see what it sounded like and it startled me. It is pretty small and seems to empty pretty quickly unless you just “tap” the button. Overall it works well.

Amazing
This product is amazing. I only had to use it a couple times and it stopped my dog from jumping. With cars it doesn’t work, dog still goes after. Now all I have to do is show the can. You do have to keep it up on using it though otherwise you kind of start over.

Effective but Needs a Better Design
I had high hopes for this pet corrector after my dog trainer recommended it. While it does have its benefits, there are some significant drawbacks. Pros: Effective deterrent: The sound it produces effectively deters my dog from barking or seeking attention, which has been a game-changer during walks. Cons: Design issues: The corrector is quite small and slips easily from my hand. Unfortunately, the first time I used it, I accidentally sprayed it on my finger, and it started burning immediately! I had to wash my hand thoroughly for a long time. Safety concerns: I wish the design was better so that there’s less chance of accidentally spraying myself while using it. Now, I put on rubber gloves when walking my dog to avoid any mishaps. Overall, while the pet corrector works well, I would recommend it with caution due to the design flaws. With a few tweaks, it could be a fantastic product!

Highly recommend
We have 12 year old Yorkshire Terriers who enjoy barking at most things passing our property when out on our deck. A family member shared their positive experience with this product for their much younger mix-bred dog. Who said you can't teach and old dog? The product works as described. We are enjoying a much quieter time and our dogs don't have to be constantly corrected for barking. I would recommend this product.

Gute Reaktionen beim Hund. Man muss es aber auch richtig einsetzen können. Das ist sehr wichtig.
