For such a low price on this power strip, the body of the power strip feels substantial with thick plastic. It's too thick to have any give when you squeeze it. The seam doesn't creak like cheap plastic molded junk does. The plugs go in smoothly and completely and are gripped well with no danger of falling out. The best thing for me is that the cord is heavy and made of some kind of rubber on the outside instead of plastic. It means that it doesn't hold a stiff shape and can easily be routed around things to stay where you put it. It has a low-profile, right-angle plug where the cord comes out diagonally just to the right side of the ground pin if the pin is facing down.

I've always been a fan of Tripp Lite, have probably a dozen scattered around the hacienda. Wanted something simple for my work table, only needed a few outlets, ability to choose from several cord lengths. Protection rating excellent. I have a number of their heavy-duty, all steel construction units. This was all I needed. The side mounted outlets are a great idea...if you have a lot of stuff plugged in, you won't need to buy a separate adapter for "wall warts".

I got this to replace a 5-year old surge protector strip. After about 5 years, a surge protector is fried. It's thunderstorm season now and this is working well. The side facing sockets may or may not work for you depending on how close to the wall it is.

Solid surge protector. I trust and use it for some 3d printers in a garage that has fluctuating temperatures with no problems so far. Great form factor and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Durability has held up so far.

These are a good strip at a reasonable price when the isobar series is overkill. I've used a bunch of these on client installs and they've never failed me. The diagnostic lights are handy to make sure there is ground present and the protection is working. The long cord is great when the outlet isn't right next to the equipment (and really, when is it ever?) and the flat plug fits behind furniture. Just be careful if you have an outlet which won't allow it to be plugged in such as one which is recessed or obstructed on one side. Above all else, the killer feature here is the side mounted outlets. They are great for keeping wall warts out of the way of the other outlets. It really does work well, much more than the "transformer spaced" outlets on other strips.

Purchased due to the side mount plugs which are convenient for large power plugs, e.g. modem and router plugs. Only complaint would be the angled configuration of the unit's plug itself. Wall plug wanted to use adjacent to a divider in new wall unit and angled cord plug would not fit so had to rearrange routing and the components being served. Another reason for purchase is experience with an identical protector which is more than 5 years old and trouble-free.

Solid construction with an on/off switch and good number of spaced out outlets. Supports enough power with a decent cord length. I would buy another one if needed.

Buscaba un supresor de picos con cable largo y este me funcionó perfectamente para lo que necesitaba. En mi localidad solo encontraba cables de máximo 1.8m y con este producto llegó muy bien a donde quería para conectar varios aparatos en el centro de entretenimiento ya que el contacto en la pared queda lejos. Muy recomendable ya que además tiene 7 contactos.

Excellent surge protector power bar - nice to have the number of outlets and ones on the side for larger adapters.
