Best Kept Secret
This is the coolest stuff. I don't know why more people don't know about it - it's way easier to use than poly, is food-safe, and can give a unique, almost silky (not sticky) feel to wood surfaces. I used it to finish my butcher block cabinets, but I've also seen it used on fine furniture and it's just a beautiful finish. My contractor didn't believe that you basically just rub it on as if it were an oil, then lightly sand it after it's dried with very fine grade paper (I wet sanded it) before rubbing in the second coat. It's durable and easy and creates a finish that isn't tacky (in any sense of the word).

Excellent Product
This is Beautiful Stuff! I had shaped wood floors, and now they are like new! I sanded my floor with 80 grit then 120 grit. I used 2 coats and so far it has held up better than polyurethane. Easy to take care of and highly durable! I got the clear, and it goes on so easily. I used a varnish brush, and it levels and seals the wood so well. Holds up to our high foot traffic and resists water.

Good Product Need Some Practice & More Info
I was unsure what applicator to use and how long to wait to recoat and whether to sand. Maybe it's me. I need to reread the micro print on the can. I think I put it on too thick as it felt a little sticky the next day. Or I didn't wait long enough. The drawers look good after a bit of high grit sanding and buffing.

Unbelievably incredible. Exceeded all expectations!!!
I decided to try OSMO Hard Wax after having a very unpleasant time using Minwax Tung Oil Finish on a previous project. I was completely blown away by how much better this product performed. The minwax tung oil finish had VERY strong and lingering noxious odors, and it irritated my skin many days after it cured. This OSMO Hard Wax oil gave me no irritation, and was close to no odor at all, especially after drying!! As for the application, I used non-abrasive scouring pads. I scrubbed the liquid in extremely thin across the whole surface using the scouring pads, and (this is critically important) scrubbed away all excess using clean scouring pads and paper towels. If you apply it wet and thick and don't scrub+absorb it away immediately, the "wetness" on the surface will dry into an undesirable thick wax on top of the surface.. If you apply it minimal+thin, scrubbing/working the product into the wood, it will cure perfectly. I did two coats total, 1 day apart from each other. The drying time was SO quick, I was able to get 2 coats in in 2 days, to a fully cured/dried result. No odors, no stickiness, just a perfectly finished surface.

Easy to apply and a little goes a long way.
The videos I've seen on ease of application along with wear, repair and water resistance is why I initially chose this product. I was not disappointed after my first use. At face value it would seem like this product is expensive. But, a little goes a long way. I bought the .75L for use on two butcher block water style vanity tops. They were approximately 3' x 5' x 2'. I put two coats on the top and underside of both vanity tops and only used about a quarter of the can. The client and anyone else I shares pictures with couldn't rave enough about how great the finish looked. Be aware, after mixing the product has a purple hue. This coloring in use helps you determine where the finish has streaks or might be too thick. It dries to a beautiful amber. I'll definitely be using this on several upcoming projects. I'm also looking into some of their other products including their spray on polyx.

Strong Finish easy to apply ๐
Excellent product - learned about it from advanced woodworking YouTube video - we are very happy with results on moldings and saddles in our kitchen renovation. Bought it multiple times for our kitchen and bathroom renovations. Seller was also very responsive when I needed a rush shipment of the second delivery. Five star seller. Thanks

Easy and beautiful
When it says remove excess, it means wipe the whole thing down. Beautiful finish. Easy to use. Very happy.

I like the OSMO 3043 Satin Polyx Oil much better than this 3054 Satin Polyx Oil
First off... I love OSMO's other Satin Polyx, the OSMO 3043 Satin Polyx Oil. It goes on easily with a pad (or brush apparently) and is very forgiving with a beautiful finish. This 3054 Satin Polyx Oil on the other hand is very difficult to use. It is much thicker/sticky and left lines throughout my project. It also took longer to dry. I used the same pads that I use with the 3043. Now, I'm not a professional so, maybe I did something wrong. I'll stay with the OSMO 3043 Satin Polyx Oil for its ease of use.
