Yoga for Witches

I have been studying yoga for over a decade and teaching both asana and meditation for three years. I bought this book really as a potential novelty/bit of fun for designing classes around Halloween. But it is a REVELATION and a DELIGHT. Beautiful connections to the feminine traditions of the sacred, seasonal rhythms, and yoga beyond just asana. A wonderful reminder of the magic in nature all around us and the magic we can create for each other and ourselves. Will be buying her other book!

Quality isn’t quite there. I have a few pages not bound properly and they’re just falling out.Also I feel it takes too much time to explain what yoga and magic are. If you’re getting this book I feel like you should already have a basic idea at the very least...so the first couple of chapter are extremely boring and just a rehash of knowledge the reader should already have.

Im a yogi and a tarot reader and a witch. This book was a quick read and full of things that I knew from different areas of my life organized in a way that I had never thought of before. I read it front to back. Quick and easy read. The author clearly knows her stuff and I loved her insights on the subject. I will read her other book for sure!

I was hesitant to buy this because I thought it was going to be extremely fluffy, but what I found was an informative book with writing that flowed well. I was presently surprised with the useful info that was put together in an orderly and inviting way that conveyed the author's expertise. I just bought her other book, Yin Magic.

I love how Sarah made the combination of yoga & witchcraft. I have done both for years and love learning how to incorporate them together and get into deeper states of meditation to do my craft in a new way. I have read the book through and plan on starting it again to get the little details and use it to reference new practices. The exercises are nice and simple for beginners and it gives the basics and beginnings of many topics where you could go into deeper research in your own. Its the beginning of a new path. I hope more yoga studios and witches combine practices at studios. Maybe this book is one of the first steps to that. ❤

The author goes into great detail about how yoga and witchcraft merge. There were times i forgot i was in fact reading a book about yoga. Hands down the best yoga book ive ever read. I take away much knowledge from this book.

This book is lovely! The author connects your body, mind and spirit in an insightful way. I never thought of connecting my witchcraft practice to yoga practice, and after reading this it won't be disconnected

As a witch, pagan and dancer who often does yoga I was hoping this could show me how I can connect my practice with my physical movement. However this book is heavily woman focused using feminine language throughout which as a trans Male made me uncomfortable and feel excluded as it only talked about how woman are witches, which is very inaccurate. Some of the knowledge is also questionable. Most pagans follow God's as well as Goddesses.

I absolutely love this book! Sarah Robinson brings an extra dimension to the practice of Yoga by incorporating the ancient wisdom of 'witchcraft'. Too often, previous Yoga books of this kind can seem to be very aggressive and even offensive to some of us, but Sarah is gentle and sensitive, and respectful to the practice of Yoga. Absolutely wonderful! The best Yoga book to be published for years!

An absolutely brilliant book about yoga and witchcraft. As someone who is looking to start practicing yoga this is an excellent place to start.Highly recommended.

Loved this book, it combines my two favourite things to learn about. A fascinating, enjoyable read.
