Why did the price just go from about $17 to over $2,000?

Not sure why that would be but you would be insane to purchase a five pound bag of candy for $2000.00

Are these too hard for a vending machine that children will purchase from ? Currently using Skittles and Bonz.

They are pretty hard. I put them in a vending machine, wasn't a very big hit. I had a couple complaints on how hard they were. My suggestion stay with skittles

Does anyone know if these contain peanuts or tree nuts or are made in a factory that uses peanuts or tree nuts?

My husband is allergic to nuts as well and ate our runts and was fine. But I don't know if they have other stuff there that uses peanuts or not.

These are the pressed dextrose, harder Runts. Nestle discontinued making the Chewy Runts. At Candymachines we have Chewy Spree by Nestle if you want that same type of chew!
