All of the ports work well enough - I use the HDMI, DP, three USB ports, and sometimes the SD slots. I have issues where my mouse does not connect to its USB adapter on the hub until I unlug and replug the USB adapter back in. My keyboard does not have this issue so I assume it is the mouse itself. What does bother me is the screen flashing when having my either/both my external monitors connected to the hub and my laptop. The screens go black two or three times on waking/startup before finally settling to having extended displays. This does not happen when connecting the monitors directly to my laptop with the same cables and once the screens settle I have not issues. I also do not have the hub plugged into a USB c port that supports passthrough charging so all of the power is drawn from the laptop itself. Am I doing something wrong, is the hub not getting enough power, is the hub not sending out enough information to the monitors at first and that is what is causing the screens to go black? I am not sure. I will continue testing to find a seamless startup experience but until then I have to retract a star from my rating.

Used this for my macbook air which has no slots for usb and absolutely love it! It also gives me the option to connect to my monitor and have multiple screens which is very nice! Great for school, work, or anything else you want!

Este producto es realmente muy útil para mí, debido a que soy cineasta y fotógrafo. Hay ocasiones que necesito llevar mi laptop a un lugar que estemos haciendo una cobertura mediática. Por lo tanto, necesito editar contenido en vivo rápidamente y como las laptops modernas no traen tantos puertos, lo máximo que pueden traer son 2/3 puertos USB para conectar el mouse, el teclado y otra cosa más, para nuestra profesión podemos tener mil y un accesorios conectados a nuestra pc. Lo que más me llamó la atención de este producto es que puedes conectarte a 3 pantallas (2 Hdmi y 1 Display Port), es increibleeeee, aunque por el momento solamente tengo una pantalla pero si tienes planes de tener más pantallas en tu espacio de trabajo, ya puedes estar tranquilo con este hub. Todos los puertos funcionan correctamente, y es muy probable que no uses todos los puertos todo el tiempo, posiblemente el hub este en un 30% de capacidad. Está bien. CONTRAS: lo que no me gustó, es que aunque en el puerto display port puedes hasta transmitir en 8k, es a una frecuencia de 30 Hz, pero seamos sinceros, no todo el mundo usa 8k de manera cotidiana. Por lo menos en 4k sí tiene una velocidad de 144 Hz. También, algo que pasé por desapercibido, es que cuando estaba leyendo el manual me habló de temperatura adecuada de operación o funcionamiento, no sabía por qué mencionaban eso. Pero ya usando el hub durante un tiempo noté que tu se suele calentar levemente (solo usando un puerto HDMI) no me quiero imaginar en un futuro cuando use más puertos. Aun así no es nada de que preocuparse, mientras no supere los 70 grados celsios todo bien. ajajajjajajja

I've had this for just under a year. It's always run hot so I'm leery about leaving SD cards, etc connected to it. It's convenient because you can connect all your peripherals to the dock and just make a single connection to the Mac. However, right off the bat, I had issues with it. It worked well for me on an older Macbook (2018). However, now I have the 2020 Macbook Pro and it’s not working as well. Every so often, the HDMI display doesn’t get connected even though the dock is connected to the laptop. Other accessories connected seem to be fine - USB keyboard, mouse, LAN are all okay. I have a 2020 13-inch Macbook Pro. The problem I have is seen with both HDMI ports. Sometimes (but not always), when I connect my sleeping Macbook Pro to the Zmuipng dock, the Macbook doesn’t wake up when I press the keyboard or mouse which are also connected to the dock. On the dock, I use the USB ports (for keyboard and mouse), I use the LAN port and I use one of the HDMI ports for an external monitor. I also have my Macbook’s power connector attached to the dock and the dock is feeding power to my Macbook. I can hear the beep when I connect the dock to my Macbook so I know it’s recognizing that power got connected to it. I don’t have this problem if my Macbook is already awake when I make the connection. It’s only an issue when it’s sleeping that it cannot be woken up. As of last week, it seems to be destroying the USB power cable bringing the power to the dock. One cable went bad last week, so I replaced it with a working spare one I had laying from my older Mac. Now, the replaced cable has also gone bad. The power supply is fine and if I connect another cable to it, it works fine. Also, the port on the Macbook is fine because when I connect a working cable to it, it starts charging up. I'm going to stop using the dock and just individually plug in my devices using the Apple dongles. Can't afford to have all my peripherals destroyed by this device.

USB only work for two weeks, and it stopped working. I am not recommending this rubbish for anyone

Ports work just great, it's important to use the proper ones as they're not equal i.e. of the 2 USB-C just 1 can be used to charge the laptop but as far as you use them the right way everything will work just fine. More than that, it's a super-tidy way to handle many cables not using a dock (hard to use if you do not have a fixed workstation. I must also highlight how much the adapter is well-made as it works way better than the Apple one (priced approx. 3 times this one). I'm referring to the HDMI port, when using my DELL 1080p display with the Apple adapter the text was blurry not it looks perfect. Super recommended! The only cons is you can practically use it only for Macbooks. One suggestion to improve the product: a switch/button to turn it off so you don't have to detach the adapter when the laptop is sleeping.

Vorweg: Ich habe dieses Gerät für meinen Mac Mini M1 gekauft. Vorwiegend, weil ich dringend einen SD-Karten Anschluss benötigt habe, aber auch als Hub zur Erweiterung der vorhandenen Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Der Mac Mini M1 ist leider, wie bei Apple üblich, etwas spärlich mit USB-Slots ausgestattet. Tastatur und Webcam belegen schon direkt alle USB-B Slots. Damit ich die 144Hz von meinem Monitor abrufen kann, musste ich diesen über USB-C anschließen (USB-C auf DP). Somit bleibt nur noch ein USB-C Slot frei. Ideal für ein USB-C Hub! Zum Hub: Ausgepackt, angeschlossen und funktioniert einwandfrei. Macht genau das, wofür es gekauft wurde. USB-Ports alle funktionstüchtig. Ist gut verarbeitet und passt gut mit seinem Aluminiumgehäuse zum Mac (wahrscheinlich noch besser zur grauen Variante). Eine besondere Hitzeentwicklung konnte ich bisher nicht feststellen. Der Hub ist jetzt nicht kalt wie bei den Apple Geräten, gibt aber auch keine spürbare Wärme von sich ab. Positiv ist noch, dass der benötigte USB-C zum anschließen des Hubs nicht "verloren" geht, da der Hub selbst einen USB-C Port besitzt. HDMI Anschluss und die Ladefähigkeit über den USB-C Anschluss wurden von mir nicht getestet, da ich diese Features nicht benötige. Für ~25€ (mal weniger, mal mehr) ein solider Hub, den man auch leicht zu seinem Laptop oder auch alleine in der Laptop-Tasche, Rucksack, Jackentasche oder Hosentasche mitnehmen kann. Ich denke mit dem Kauf macht man nichts falsch.

Degelijk ding, werkt direct en probleemloos met een HP G6 Elitebook. Getest met de volgende hardware ingeprikt: logitech unified receiver, een 1440p LG monitor (max refresh rate zit vast op 75hz), een muis en een logitech brio 4k webcam. Ook opladen gaat goed waarbij de temperatuur van de hub hoogstens handwarm wordt.
