JOOM Retractable Clothesline Indoor, Dual 2 x 13.8 FT Clothes Lines, White

I haven't installed this yet but the directions and hardware seem very straightforward and easy to install if you have the tools and experience installing something fairly simple like this. The hardware, like the mounting bracket, seems very sturdy and made of good quality metal, but is also lightweight. One thing I really like is that the winding mechanism slows the speed at which the line retracts. So if you pull it out far & accidentally let go of the line, you don't have to worry about it snapping back too fast like a tape measure- causing damage to your wall or hurting anyone who might be standing in it's path. I'd still use caution though, since you cannot engage the lock while pulling the line out at the same time. You can disconnect the line while it's still locked, carry it over to the unit, and then release the locking mechanism to have even more control over the wire and where it's travelling while it's winding back up. Overall, very nice product and pleased with the quality and size. It's compact, has a relatively small wallspace footprint when it's not in use, and perfect for my line-drying needs in my small studio apartment.

As a costumers, there are certain things I need to hang to dry and this hanging line has been a very useful tool. I keep mine outdoor on my patio and it has helped me dye dresses as well as air dry items that can’t be put in the dryer. I love that when it isn’t being used I can retract the lines and they are out of the way. Overall I’m completely happy with how well and durable this product is.

Holds heavy wet clothes without sagging significantly. Requires drilling into studs or solid walls for maximum weight support. Needs a tight lock to prevent heavy blankets from dipping .I bought this double retractable clothesline to maximize my indoor drying space. It is incredibly convenient because the lines disappear when I am done with laundry. The double-line design allows me to hang shirts on one side and heavier items on the other. Setup took a little bit of effort to ensure it was secure, but it has held up beautifully. I highly recommend it for anyone living in an apartment or small home.

I installed this in my living room to dry clothes indoors. The wire is nice and strong. I like how you can easily slide the items across the smooth wire. I would have given it 5 stars if the instructions were more clear. I damaged my wall because I didn’t know how to install it. But once it was properly installed I am totally satisfied.

Absolutely love this!! Put it up on the two posts of the back porch. Holding up well, no sagging. Nice to retract it when not using. Holds a fair amount of clothes.

We have an ordinance in our city that doesn’t allow us to hang our laundry outside. However I hate drying my clothes because they don’t last as long. We mounted this in our garage. It’s perfect, slightly longer than 1 side of the garage and we were able to hang a great deal of laundry on it. The lock is critical, so make sure it is low enough to reach the lock. Good strong multi fiber cord. Love it. It retracts quickly and easily so we can pull the car back in the garage when the clothes are dry. Now…if we could figure out how to have all the clothes done for at least 1 day…that would be nice.

I mounted this without issue, just took a few tries because the instructions weren't clear. The biggest issue I have is that the retracting doesn't fully retract unless you tug at it a few times. I'll keep it for now, just to keep an eye on the retraction.

This is a fantastic clothesline and I am so glad it was available. It works and fit perfect in my laundry room. Peace

Loved this product, been using for a long while now. The dismantling of the product can be tricky but other than that, it's great!

Installation est simple et le mécanisme d'enroulement fonctionne parfaitement : le câble se déroule facilement, se bloque bien à la longueur souhaitée et se rétracte en douceur sans se coincer. Une fois tendue, la corde s'avère particulièrement robuste et supporte très bien le poids de vêtements humides, y compris des serviettes ou des textiles plus lourds, sans trop s'affaisser au milieu. C'est une excellente alternative aux étendoirs sur pied volumineux, très discrète une fois le câble rangé. En résumé, un produit de qualité, esthétique et extrêmement pratique au quotidien que je recommande sans hésiter.

Ho acquistato questo stand retrattile da parete per utilizzarlo nel mio garage, e posso dire di essere estremamente soddisfatto. Il prodotto si estende da una parete all’altra, occupando l’intera larghezza della stanza, ed è una soluzione eccellente per chi cerca uno stendibiancheria capiente ma poco invasivo. La struttura è robusta e ben progettata. Fin da subito ho deciso di fissarlo con tasselli Fischer, diversi da quelli in dotazione, per garantire una tenuta ancora più solida, vista la lunghezza dell’apertura e il carico che intendevo supportare. Con questa piccola accortezza, il risultato è stato impeccabile: lo stand è fermo, stabile e dà grande sicurezza anche sotto carichi importanti. Dal punto di vista della funzionalità, è davvero versatile. Ho provato a stenderci di tutto: abiti, lenzuola, asciugamani e persino coperte pesanti. Regge tutto senza alcuna difficoltà, senza cedimenti o segni di affaticamento strutturale. L’ampiezza dei fili permette di stendere molta biancheria in un’unica volta, cosa utilissima soprattutto nei mesi invernali o per chi ha poco spazio in casa. Un altro grande punto a favore è il meccanismo retrattile: quando non è in uso, si richiude completamente e sparisce alla vista, lasciando il garage libero e ordinato. Non ingombra, non disturba e mantiene l’ambiente pulito e funzionale. È l’ideale per chi, come me, utilizza il garage anche per altre attività e ha bisogno di ottimizzare ogni metro disponibile. In sintesi, un prodotto ben fatto, resistente e intelligente, che consiglio vivamente. Unico suggerimento: se volete un fissaggio duraturo e particolarmente solido, investite in tasselli di qualità, come i Fischer, soprattutto se lo installate su superfici in muratura o cemento. Ma già così com’è, il prodotto merita pienamente cinque stelle.
