This foam gun is fun. It's a little hard for a toddler to shoot. Feels like it's well made.

This is a really fun gift for active boys and kept my kids entertained right away. The foam balls are safe and it’s great for burning off energy. The only downside is that it does take quite a bit of force to shoot the ball, which made it challenging for my four-year-olds to use on their own. Overall still a fun toy, especially for older kids.

The foam bullet balls are soft enough to use inside if you're careful. The are hard enough to hurt if you're not careful. And your don't want them around breakables. They work well. You pump the handle to built up enough air pressure to shoot a ball. Little kids may struggle to pump hard enough and aim at the same time. We keep ours in a locked room & and allow the kids to play with them under supervision. The blasters are a good tool to teach safety in a low-risk environment. Never point a blaster at another person, even if it isn't loaded. Don't run in front of someone who is aiming. Don't shoot if someone runs in front of you. All it takes is one mistake and the fun is over (we put them away). The kids love using them. And since we don't just leave these toys accessible, they are less likely to tire of them.

I have fun with this trying to quiet the parakeets down sometimes. Before everyone freaks out, believe it or not, the birds aren't afraid of this...in fact it's hilarious...they calmly sit there and look down to see where the ball went, like it's all entertainment for them....then start right up being raucous again. Typically I shoot the balls off the ceiling, then it bounces in to their cage...again, I think they are more amused by it than anything. So, it may not quiet them down typically, other than very temporarily distracting them to see where it went, but It's funny watching them. I think now they think they have me trained to amuse them...make noise and the funny balls appear! LOL

Great product especially for the price. Gave to my 7 year old grandson for Christmas. Him and his dad had the best time. The balls are softer than a plastic ball but harder than a nerf ball.
