Works for woodstove replacement bricks
Relined my woodstove with these. Easy to fit, can cut with a coarse hacksaw blade. A cheap diamond holesaw was used to cut holes for the air supply pipes. Hoping they last as long as OEM.

Good for the price
Two bricks out of the 12 were chipped and not really usuable because of the specific sizing. That being said, it's a known brand and the price was almost 60% less so overall I'm happy. You're bound to get cracked bricks and that's fine. Chipped is a little different, though.

Worked great!
Worked great. Huge savings over buying fire bricks of the exact size for my woodstove. I cut these down to fit with a tile saw. Perfect.

Great packaging - no cracked bricks
In addition to being delivered very promptly, being the correct size, I was impressed by the foam packaging and tight fit of the bricks. None of the bricks arrived cracked. I was able to cut them with my angle grinder diamond blade after a few minutes of soaking in water, then install them in the stove to replace the worst ones. All in all, a good deal that worked out well.

what I wanted, almost
I have a 25 plus year wood stove that I have never changed the Bricks. it is a high quality stove and I use it LOTS, sole source of heat in my 2k sf home. the original bricks were made in Canada as they are embossed with Canada on them. these bricks are all cracked to the point I thought it is a good time to change them, especially seeing the cost of the replacement bricks being what I consider a reasonable price. the new replacement bricks are significantly lighter, less dense, noticeably lighter than the original. I had to notch the top of the new bricks to fit under a lip that holds them in place in the stove. I knew I would have to notch them when I bought them. they were easily notched with a hand held rotary grinder. one brick cracked in half no where near the point I was grinding, not a big deal. I also had to cut one in width and it cut without problem, so I am not sure why the other split for no good reason on my part. my only concern is the much less dense construction of the bricks. as this is July I will not be using the stove for a few months to determine how they perform, and how they will hold up. not sure where these bricks are made as there is no indication with the product. they did replace the old bricks, fit in fine, were the exact same size as the old bricks, the size specified in product description. my questions are : "where are these bricks made?" and "how will the density effect performance?" and "how will they hold up?" time will tell. I would have rated the product higher if the bricks had been the same density as the original. the new bricks are very porous, the original bricks dense and smooth. the less dense construction leaves me thinking they will not hold up as well as the original, and only hope they provide a safe and effective liner for the stove.
