They work well for repairing ruptured finger tendons if you are patient.
I bought these various items because I did not know what size would fit my finger with the ruptured tendon. The largest size works well for me. As a note, the largest size will likely not fit really huge fingers. The Velcro wears out fast. Just buy a roll of clear bandage tape ahead of time at Amazon and you will be good to go. Another note; from my experience, You need to leave the splint on for at least 3 months before you remove it if you have a ruptured finger tendon. You can remove the splint daily to very carefully wash and dry the finger. Be really easy on that finger for another several months after removing the splint, or the tendon can easily tear off again. These splints do work in the long run, but you need to give adequate time for the tendon to reattach and heal enough before removing the splint, and then baby that finger for a long time afterwards.

No tape needed
These finger splints work better than the metal ones. It is easy to take off . Don't need tape!

terrible product
This product is useless as a finger splint. I'm going to try to explain why: My left pinky is broken at the last phalanx, just past the last joint. I have to wear a splint for about six weeks. It can't ever come off - if I bend the last joint even once, the splint-wearing clock starts over (or so the doctor told me). The picture shows the splint that the doctor gave me. It's held on by tape. It holds the last joint straight, but if you tape it correctly, it allows you to bend the second-to-last joint. I tried to show that in the picture. You have to tape it on the second phalanx. If you taped it on the third phalanx, then you wouldn't be able to bend the second joint either (and that makes life harder - trust me). OK, so this product: first of all, the velcro that secures it to your finger is positioned so that it's on the third phalanx. So even if the splint worked, you would not be able to bend the second joint (so your entire finger would be held straight while wearing the splint). BUT, it also doesn't stay on. Naively, I thought that the velcro might work better than tape. It does not. I cinched it as tight as I could, but it pulls off easily. If you used this type of splint, you'd have to be super careful all the time that you didn't accidentally knock your splint off. I guess this product might be OK if you don't really NEED a splint, but you're just using it casually. But I wouldn't recommend it if you have a broken finger or a joint injury and you really need the last joint to be immobile.

Decent, but small. Needed to modify to fit!
These run very small, so I took the two largest and then had to cut and shave them down to fit my manly middle finger. Once I did that, it worked great. So, be ready to modify. Also, you will need extra velco straps to use as these will eventually end up wet or dirty. I just ordered an extra roll so I could swap for clean velcro after secveral days and not worry as much about keeping it clean.

They're okay
The finger cups are great, they cheeped out on the Velcro. It wont stick, you've got to tape the band down.

Great item with one modification.
Ok first of all I tore off the Velcro strap that was on it and ordered finger sleeves. The Velcro does not feel comfortable between your fingers and neither does Velcro. Once I did that and slid over a finger sleeve it fit nice and cozy. Just look them up here on Amazon they have different colors and sizes.

Easy to use
Nice product. Wrapped little finger with gauze and put splint over it. Then added a cloth finger cover to keep it on the clean side. I tried other splints but this one is doing the job.

Okay, I prefer other designs
These were very helpful, but not perfect for my mallet finger injury. The fit wasn't great for my middle finger. I couldn't find a size that was big enough for the tip while being thin enough for the width, so my splint would slip off if I didn't have it overlapping itself, which left a big, painful indent in my finger. The Velcro also didn't hold up well when it got wet, so I couldn't really wash that part and had to instead just switch it out with another one. That said, they were great to have when I was washing and drying my other splints, as having 10 pieces was super handy.
