beautiful book but for which side of the atlantic?
This is a lovely book with step by step drawings of mostly British wildlife, and by an English author, so it is a bit confusing to see some US fauna in amongst the drawings. Nevertheless, great for encouraging children (and adults!) to take notice of the nature on our doorstep.

Love this book. I first drawing i did was the blue tit. Ive never drawn in my life and i was so proud of myself. Looked beautiful.

Lovely little book
This lovely book provides step by step guides to draw a range of animals, plants and birds, as well a providing a suggested colour palette for completing your drawing. I love the style of drawing used in this book and found it easy to follow. It would be perfect for beginners or someone picking up a pencil for the first time in a while and will help develop and improve drawings skills. Itโd make a great gift for the creative person in your life and is suitable for young and old alike.

Ok I didn't draw what I see , I drew what i thought I seen ... will try again once I feel confidence again .....I am very early learning and along way to go. Still working in Lulu Mayo "how to draw Cute stuff"

Easy steps for good results.
I love this book!! I've just taken up drawing as a new hobby!! Always thought I couldn't do it but this book is fab. The steps are easy to follow and I'm no Picasso but I am thrilled with the result.๐

Lots of sketches
On the positive side, there are lots of things to sketch in here, step by step. However, some of them are quite small, especially where they are one to a page. The writing is quite small and spindley and lightish grey. Some of the animals have strange facial expressions. A colour palette is promised for each, which just consists of pencil crayons circles, no named colours or brands of pencil crayons. However, it's good for doing regular sketch practices, in good light. It's small enough to carry around in a bag and not too heavy.
