10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment Gel 2.1 oz

I recently started on testosterone shots and while it has been way too many years since I've been a teenager, the shots started to break out my chest, back, and upper arms with acne (cysts mainly). For the long time I could control them decently with salicylic acid - however it took weeks to get rid of some of the larger (4-6mm) cysts. I used washes as well as wipes and creams. Upon a recent visit with my physician, he advised a few things: 1. Do not use Rubbing Alcohol to clean pimples (it creates inflammation/swelling) 2. Salicylic Acid is more a preventer of new acne 3. Use Benzoyl Peroxide to get rid of stubborn acne 4. A good regimen of antibiotics will clear most breakouts (along with a reduction in testosterone) I received the Perrigo Benzoyl Peroxide in the mail 2 days ago and I am amazed at how quickly it worked. Literally overnight, 6-7 areas of my body improved at least 50% (meaning smaller, less red, and less inflamation/pain). Those same areas (now on day 3) are almost completely gone. I expect by tomorrow, they will be gone. My son has breakouts as well and I am planning on having him use some tonight. My hope is to get photos of the before and after - if I am able to, I will update this post with those. I could not be more pleased with the strength and efficacy is perfect for me. However, my only use is on my body at this point. I know that Benzoyl Peroxide can cause stinging and redness with some people. So, while the strength is good for what I am using it for, if you are using it on areas of your face (do not use on eyes, nose, and mouth), you may want a lessor strength than 10%.

Benzoyl peroxide 10% is a strong and reliable treatment for stubborn acne. It works quickly to reduce breakouts and clear clogged pores. It can be a bit drying or irritating at first, but with regular use and a good moisturizer, it delivers noticeably clearer skin. Great option if lower strengths haven’t worked for you.5/5

Part of my skin care routine. Super easy to apply. Ingredients are as listed- I have allergies and I have no problems. I just received this a week ago, so I can’t talk about longevity- but it is a large tube and will last me a LONG time. My skin looks phenomenal- but that’s due to my skin care combo (this is part of it). It is not oily- this product makes oiliness of your skin LESS. It is a cream- you apply a m&m sized amount to your whole face and let it dry- it will get rid of the oiliness! It’s been super effective and I can’t remember my last breakout.

The product is perfect, works great , great size but but but .....forst time i received and amazon product without the safety seal !!! The small seal who most should and have to be on the product for safety reason wasnt there and im a united states consumer for their strict rules and safety parameters, I've watched influencers been cancelled for the same reason and having to replace and gift free products soooooo is super strange

My daughter uses this for the exema on her hands it helps with the flare ups and dryness

My surgeon and their staff recommend me purchasing this for after my surgery. With the medical tape and the hospital items I have to wear my skin gets acne reactions and I tried it one night before bed and they were all gone the next day. My skin is very sensitive so it did not give my skin a bad reaction. Comes out very easily so it’s very easy to apply. The appearance is white and a little thick and the strength is very strong

Packed nicely, works effectively it’s really good.

I use it as spot treatment for my acne, as well as around my nose and chin where I do tend to get more blackheads and acne. It does not irritate my skin and I could use it alongside my tretinoin at night. One tube could also last a long time and is pretty cost effective, all things considered.

Received my today but the top wasn’t sealed, that left me wondering if it’s even legit
