Blender Blade Replacement Part for Vitamix Replacement Blade Assembly - Stainless Steel Wet Blade Compatible with 5200 Series Blender Mixer 64oz & 32oz Containers

Bearing went out on our old blade assembly. This fits well and works. It squeals a little louder at the lower speeds. Seems to be a good value.

Good quality blade. Working fine a year later and I use my Vitamix daily.

This blade is good for the price. I've used it for a month, and the blade material is not as durable as the original blade, but still good for the price.

It was working fine for about 4 months. Then one day we were blending up some frozen bananas when the blender literally started smoking! Low and behold, the bearings in this blade assembly had started grinding themselves to death. We found the blade locked in place and the base covered in fine metallic powder after we had turned everything off. Never had that problem with our original blade assembly from vitamix! And we blend frozen bananas all the time.

We purchased this blade assembly in January 2022 and it already needs to be replaced. It lasted almost a year and a half. We use our Vitamix multiple times a week and I make almond/hemp butter a couple of times a month. With lighter use, this may last longer, but we decided it was worth it to pay for the the authentic blade assembly. The original blade assembly that came with the Vitamix lasted at least 5 years (probably closer to 8 -10 years - hard to keep track of the time) with heavy weekly use.

Once it was tightened properly, it worked very well!

This did not work with my 5200 Vitamix. The shaft is too short to meet the main motor. So didn’t work. Pay attention today the measurements listed.

Works great and cheaper than OEM. Have had it for a couple of months. So far so good!

Seems decently made, but the blade spins not as freely as the original one. I take issue with that because this will wear out the motor faster. I saw a youtube video where someone knocked out the (2 sets of) bearings and showed that you can just buy generic skateboard bearings for those.. why do those sold here have more friction? The price is good, but I'll still return this one and try my luck with one off of ebay.

It fits my Vitamix 5200 container. It exactly the same size as the part that I removed from my container. I've only made a couple of smoothies with this part, so I cannot comment on its longevity.
