Straight Ahead

The seminal Amy Grant CCM album -- more polished than Age to Age and less pretentious than Unguarded. Amy Grant matured, found the 'grrr' in her voice and received the support and talent of Myrrh records' best studio musicians. The LP has the strong Christian lyrics of a more innocent time where 'Jesus' is mentioned by name, but also the polish of quality production. One of the best of this time -- synthesizers not overly used on most songs so that the music has stood the test of time. Great album.

I still have the vinyl for this, but no turntable. Had the CD, but my car stereo ate it. Finally broke down and bought the MP3. Knew exactly what I was getting and love it!

I used to have this on cassette tape years ago. Of course I don't have anymore of my cassette tapes so I decided to buy some of my old favorites and this just happened to be one of them. I received this in CD format and the MP3 download. Both are just fine. My favorite song on the entire CD is The Now and the Not Yet. I love the melody and the lyrics. This is a good choice for anyone who likes Amy Grant or is new to her music and wants to listen to some of her older music.

Arrived safe and before it was scheduled to be, plays perfectly no scratches or jumps.

Very encouraging album...lyrics are much more powerful than how I remembered them.

This is one of the first one's I purchased, however I had to get rid of the cassette versions of all of my Amy Grant tapes because they wore out or got damaged during my move from PA to FL. This CD was to replace the cassette I had.

I purchased this album with 2 of her others and have been so blessed hearing these tunes again. What wonderful music I grew up on.

I am sure it is a good album. I purchased it as a Christmas gift for a friend.
