I have a Sony A7III camera but it doesn’t have a flip screen for monitoring myself when filming. Overall, this flip screen is a solid product that has enhanced my vlogging setup. The flip screen is extremely useful for monitoring myself while filming, and the build quality is pretty sturdy for the price. It was straightforward to attach to my camera but make sure to remove the film from the mirror or the image will look foggy. It does add a bit of bulk to the camera, which might be a downside for those who prefer a lighter setup especially for traveling. The price is affordable for someone looking for an inexpensive way to monitor their video. Another plus is that you don’t need to charge this device as opposed to regular camera monitors. Overall, if you're a vlogger or someone who needs a flip screen for self-recording, this product is definitely worth considering. Just be aware of the slight limitations in flexibility and added weight.

Perfect for Sony a6000

Ok a couple things. So this also works for a6100 Sony model. And make sure to take off the protective film on the mirror before filming. For me its really hard to look directly in the camera. This really helps. I like the concept of this. I'm just starting to record more videos and realized it's hard trying to find the middle of the camera. This should help with that. I also like how this does have multiple ways to put extra attachments on. If you look at the pictures associated with this review it show how it should be setup so you can see yourself through mirror! Hopefully this helps people to see if they should try it or not.

For some reason, manufacturers are still pushing out cameras without fully articulated displays, which at this point should be a default feature. My A7iii was one such camera. If you're one of those unfortunate souls who bought one, this shoe-mounted mirror can offer some reprieve - provided your rear display can at least tilt up to face the mirror. It does stick up quite a bit, though that's not a fault of the design itself. The mirror needs to be big enough to accommodate the entire display *and* be readable at a reasonable distance. Perhaps if it could fold, it'd be more compact, but I'm not sure exactly how much that adds to its overall usefulness. Still, if you end up having to film yourself a lot and don't want to resort to using a janky companion app or drop money on an even larger external monitor or a wireless HDMI transmitter, this is an easy buy.

I have a Sony A7III and have used the Image Edge app to use my phone as a monitor when I need it. However there are many occasions when this is inconvenient and the process is sometimes cumbersome. Like many others I really wish that Sony just built the camera with a selfie flip screen. I saw this UURIG attachment recommended on twitter and thought the concept was ridiculous but decided to give it a shot anyway. I am blown away how well this works. It’s really bright even outdoors and it’s perfect for selfies and vlogging when needed. Plus it’s small, light and easy to pack. Also very thoughtful to have cold shoes on the top and sides to add other attachments.

This mirror isn't angled enough to see your phone screen when it is mounted on its long side. This this has zero use

It is difficult to get the right framing and angle, good concept, yet it could definitely have a better design and rotating angles.

A piece of plastic that does amazing. Great value for the money.

I'm still using a Sony a6500, so the screen doesn't flip up or to the side. This simple and affordable solution is perfect. It does push a shotgun mic up a bit higher, but I haven't found this to be an issue.

Does the job wonderfully. Such a complex issue of not having a flip up screen has been solved applying elementary physics. Great product with dewar build quality A must have for cameras with no flip up screen
