I bought this kit as I was installing a solar pool pump system. I needed to be able to crimp MC4 connectors on bare wire to connect the whole system up. Since this was my first time working with these connectors, I watched a few youtube videos on how it's done, and I was ready to roll! Had a couple of misfires, but by the end, I was crimping and connecting like a pro! The tool and connectors all seem to be of good quality.

Worked perfectly for setting up the solar system on our off grid camper. Everything fit securely, and I continue to use the crimping tool for crimping other electrical wire ends not solar related.

My first solar project. Tool easy to use. Although, I googled videos on how to crimp MC4 Connectors. The kit has no instructions. I wanted to be sure I was doing it right to ensure a good connection. Performed the job. Nice kit. It included extra connectors. The tools to tighten the connectors worked well also. Happy with the purchase.

Used this to repair a solar panel that had one of the mc4 connectors ripped off in a storm. Was easy to use and made a great crimp got solar panel back in service.

Very convenient and works great. Save money by making the connections instead of buying so called (solar cables). Only need stranded copper wire whatever size's required for your situation.

This is a must have if you have solar makes repairs simple and makes separating cables a breeze

Purchased because one of my connectors got smashed during a move. I watched a few youtube videos on how to repair it and purchased this set. Crimper tool felt solid and crimp felt tight. Replaced both sides. New connection made solar panel detect sunlight sooner in the morning. Worth the purchase.
