I have purchased cheap beach tents in the past and have always gone for the kind that have a floor mat at the front that also zips up to create a closed pod for chaging in, getting the children ready or for my wife to breastfeed when my kids where younger and they have always been great for the price, but the only thing that really let them down was the actual tent poles. Due to the cheapness of the tent, the poles where very flimsy and never really stood up to even the slightest bit of wind and in the English summertime, there is a lot of it and it renders your tent a bit useless as a shelter if it's sagging in or folding over, so I decided that Is had enough of cheating out on a beach tent, as after all, it has to last some time AND look after your family from the various elements. I had kept my eye on this tent for a while, but had not bought it due to being a little hesitant about spending so much on a beach tent, but finally decided that my family needed something decent for our beach days, picnics, days out, etc... and I have got to say that I am glad I did and can't believe I didn't do it sooner! The tent itself is so well made and the poles are incredibly sturdy, the mechanism is fantastic and so quick, you can literally have the tent up in seconds and visa versa. The pockets on the sides for filling with sabf to further weigh the tent down are brilliant, and the fact that they velcro closed is genius, as when you are ready to go, you simply undo the velcro and shake the sand off, rather than having to turn the sand bag pockets inside out. The floor mat is very robust and large enough for a family to all sit on, the inside of the tent is a very decent size and the fact that the floor mat zips up is incredibly useful, especially for changing or maybe even just a bit if privacy out of the sun. I am really happy with this beach tent and will be suggesting it to my friends and family. We purchased the smallest one they do and it is easily big enough for my family of four, plus more people, bags and spare clothes. If you are looking for a great quality, sturdy beach tent that is light, easy to put up and take down, then this is it!!

Bought this as we go to a lot of motor sports events and it was the perfect size for us. We used it for the 1st time a couple of weekends back and it was exactly what we needed HOWEVER it started to rain and we took shelter all seemed well until the heavens opened up and what seemed like a months worth of rain fell in just 1 1/2 hours and the seams leaked like a sieve and the windows which are a very very fine mesh were next to useless. But to be honest it is only really meant to be used as a sun shade which it did perfectly and when the rain did start it was only a shower and the tent stood up to that we'll. Setting up and taking down is an absolute breeze and is easily done by one person in less than 5 mins that Includes putting the guy lines and pegs into place, it is light enough that it can be carried over your shoulder for long periods without becoming too uncomfortable and when set up it is nice a sturdy and has loads of room also has pockets inside for phones,keys or anything else you wouldn't want on the floor, would I recommend this product? Yes most definitely just do not use it in heavy rain.

Absolutely love this tent. Best purchase ever! It fitted our 3 pop up chairs inside, our photos were taken just as we were putting it all up. The tent is easy even for a woman, as you do not need much strength to pull up the strings on the top first before assembling all the legs in place. Once you have understood how to do it by the instructions given on the inside tag of the bag, I normally can have the tent set up in around 10 mins. Its brilliant on a windy beach, away inside from all the elements. Our photos were taken yesterday where it was quite windy, but we were so warm and sheltered inside our tent on the beach. So easy to put away too and get it back in the bag, which I was worried about! Spacious tent though, with a few storage flaps inside. Plus window covers that can just be rolled up or left down/toggled down if you prefer. It also comes with a hook at the top of the tent where you could possibly hang a small light. It comes with tent pegs, guide ropes, and even a fold-out-flap on the back in the outside of the tent so that you can fill it with pebbles/beach stones to further hold the tent down! We placed a few pebbles on the door flap that acts as a front floor covering, with beach stones too, just to keep it from blowing around more. Perfect family size, fits 3 + dog easily, great value for money.

Love this shelter it’s easy to put up and down and very roomySeems to be made of strong material and the built in ground sheet is greatLots of little pockets inside to put phones etc.we have used this lots at the beach and even kept us dry in a downpour as long as you don’t touch fabric while it’s raining.It did take a little figuring on how to put it up first time but instructions attached to bag are very helpful.It’s quite light to carry too. I’ve deducted one star as strap snapped on carry case after first use so had to sew back in place but would still highly recommend.We carry a little brush in carry case to sweep off sand before packing up.Love the little curtains too which give extra shade for our dogs. You can comfortably get two chairs inside and the door fully zips up if needed for getting changed.

Wow, on a Turkish beach with soaring temperatures, this was so cool in looks and as a shelter.So easy to put up even when a bit breezy and the sand pockets were more than enough to anchor the base while setting up.A real head turner, I'll never go back to beach umbrellas and/or wind breakers again.I'm over 6 feet tall and there was more than enough room to escape the noon sun.The big mesh windows with their covers which could be secured with guide ropes, were great for allowing cooling breezes to pass through without losing any shade and still gave good views of the surroundings.If I could change one thing, it would be to shorten the packed length. Couldn't find a case or bag big enough to pack it in for our flight to go in the hold. In the end we put in diagonally in a tough storage bag, with some other stuff (beach towels etc) and strapped it up tight.It was with in the BA dimensions, so it when on fine in the hold.Tip. If its a bit windy when packing away, just wrap it the best you can and leave a bit pocking out the bag (as the bag length is a bit tight). Once you are in a calmer area, it takes 5 mins to pack it properly, you will also dislodge any sand inside that was wet and sticky when taking down.

The tent arrived midday on the day it said it would. Extremely happy with the fast delivery service.I was surprised by the length of the package and the tent carry bag did seem a fair amount longer than I had expected it to be.I was a little bit disappointed that it wasn't in the zip up bag as was shown on the ad picture, but was in a looser, drawstring instead, but I wasn't overly bothered by it & it seemed to match the tent better.Oddly though, upon opening the tent it gave off a rather weird smell, which unfortunately I can only describe as being a bit of a moldy kind of smell. But the tent itself looked brand new and was wrapped up as so too, so I'm not exactly sure why this would be the case. Maybe where it was stored had something to do with that.The tent itself, I am so over the moon with!! So much so that the couple of unexpected things really do not matter in comparison to how I feel about tgis tent! I've left the tent open to air, and will be wiping the insides to freshen it a bit. It's definately NOT a deal breaker.The tent it spacious, it didn't take me long to put it up, and it's easy to take down again.And it's I find it light to carry!Most of all I LOVE how it looks. Very Impressed with this tent! And CAN'T WAIT to take it out to the park on a sunny day with the kiddos!!I highly recommend it, for any one considering getting it!

Space for 2 camping chairs plus 2 recumbent tweens + all our baggage. Not heavy to carry and bag design sensible for putting it away. Time needed to put up / take down very quick: it helps having more than one person in windy conditions - you would only buy it if there was more than one of you, I think - but on a still day then it would be no problem for one person. First day of use was in a stiff breeze and gusts of 20 mph+: we used the pegs with guy ropes and stones in the side pockets and had no problems. Note that it is not a "proper tent" (no flysheet etc.) and will only give limited protection from rain, but good for sun / wind. I felt a bit soft buying a beach tent at all but wife was recuperating from operations on her knees hence wanted a place to sit in a camping chair without sun or wind burn. Elder daughter also at a sensitive age and appreciated having space to change (the front does up for this purpose). Pricier than most tents but overall very happy with the purchase.

This tent is very sturdy and enormously huge, I like the new design that blackout the sun really well compare to ordinary beach tent, ofc UPF50 protection as well. The pegs works well but can be improved.Tent is easy to setup but it’s tricky to get it back into carry bag, you have to make sure the top of tent get in first.Regarding the label said about harmful chemical, unfortunately Easthills is a business from USA, the laws of US state California required such information printed on label, is this something to do in the UK? I don’t really think so, also I think the only harmful material probably the silver coat that protect from UV, so every beach tent has it, I believe that non-stick pan can cause cancer higher than this tent, but I have never seen any warning label.I have contacted Easthills and found out that the tent came with 12months warranty against defects in material and worksmanship from the date of purchase.

I don’t normally write reviews because I just don’t bother, but I think it’s important for people to know how easy this is to set up and take down. When you’re hot and sweaty at the end of a beach day and you want the minimal aggravation, this is the tent for you. I’ve had several different pop-up tents in the past thinking that were just as easy to set up but they’re always hard to put back into the case and to fold up. This tent is literally pulling the string to set up and undoing a string to take down. It’s so easy. I’ve only set it up in my kitchen to test it out so far but it already seems like it would hold up better than a pop up in wind. I am so excited to use this. I got the beige XL for my family of 6.

Das Zelt ist von innen her nicht ganz durch gefärbt, beschichtet. Denke material Mangel. Waren schon im Urlaub als es aufgefallen ist.Zu öffnen geht es besser, als es abzubauen. Gerade wenn es windig ist. Die Boden Folie könnte stabiler sein. Ist nach einem Strand Urlaub, 1 Woche, schon an mehreren Stellen mit Löcher versehen. Dabei hatten wir Sandstrand. Es ist schön groß und erfüllte trotzdem seinen Zweck. Die Stangen haben gehalten, auch bei Wind.

Very nice beach tent. Very light to carry as well. Sets up easily with minimal fuss and light weight of the tent allows it to be lifted up and shaken out before packing away. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stable it is in a fairly strong wind. My wife went swimming while the dog and I sat inside and enjoyed the shade. Comes with guy ropes to hold it down but we have yet to use them. I have used the tent pegs and they have been sufficient. I usually bring along a picnic blanket and lay it inside. Can be closed up to allow one person enough space to change out of their bathing suit in private. Highly recommended!

I wish I could give this beach tent 10 stars! After all these years of buying cheap flimsy beach tents and getting disappointed, this beach tent truly surprised me. Hope this save you a lot of time – and more importantly, save you a lot of sun exposure you' d rather not have. It comes with 10 pegs – 4 for 4 corners of the tent, 4 for guylines and 2 for securing the extended floor. It also comes with a carrying bag with strap and a pouch for pegs and guylines. Just like the other Easyup beach tents in the market, set up and take down is super easy if you practice a few times. They even printed the instructions on a flap that connected to the carrying bag so you' ll never lose it. Basically it does everything a beach tent should do, but what really surprise me and make this beach tent my top pick are a few features that you won't find in other similar models: EXTENDED FLOOR: I must say this feature is a huge plus for me. We could lay under the shade without worrying about sand eating. There are some similar models that use dark colored material floor and get really hot in direct sun but not an issue with this tent. I recommend you cover it with beach blanket or towel to make it more comfortable. CHANGING ROOM: It's really nice to be able to zip the front up and have a changing room if you need one. But make sure someone is out watching for you. Other than that, it's a nice feature to keep your belongings safe when you are away or in the water. Not that it'll keep them safe physically, but people are less likely to open and rummage through it when you keep your tent zipped up.SAND POCKET: Almost every beach tent in the market uses sand pocket. It works, but it really is painful trying to get the sand out when taking down the tent. What surprised me was that they used Velcro for their sand pockets to make it much easier to fully open it and shake the sand loose. Really convenient! Save you a lot of troubles. I also like the fact that they have three wide roll-up mesh windows on every side for efficient ventilation. And you'll always be able to see what's going on outside. It comes with 4 guylines in case you need extra stability, but I never have used them though. Overall, highly recommended. Worth the money! You could even imagine they had read all the reviews, done their market research and try to solve the problems customers are facing.
