I only use these microfiber mops now - I never use a real mop and only use a swiffer to get dust out from under the couch. I have a one sided O-Cedar mop as well but this flip dual sided mop is by far my favorite. I use a spray for my wood floors and work in sections spraying and mopping & this mop is perfect for that. Once I spray and use the shorter side to mop, I flip the other side over and buff out the streaks or any extra wetness that is there no matter what type of spray I have used. With a one sided mop the short side stays wet and I can't buff out the streaks. It's like when you windex glass, it's best to go over it with a dry cloth or paper towel to get any streaks out. My grandmother used to use two different mops, one to clean and one to buff - and was very happy to get this one instead because it is so much more convenient. Having these re-usable microfiber mops are just better in the first place IMO as they can handle a much larger space than a regular swiffer pad - which means more money saved and no hassle of buying refills every month or so. I purchased the mop combo (handle/base & removable microfiber cloth) at Home Depot about a year ago. I just purchased this refill cloth so I can have the flip mop available to use at all times, not because the cloth that came with my mop was damaged or old. I actually compared my older but washed microfiber cloth to the new one and you can barely tell the difference. The white is not as white anymore & there is some lint in the velcro but the velcro is still holding strong, and there is not much (if any) damage to the cloth - I have a feeling these will last a very long time. Note: I don't have any tile or linoleum - just wood and laminate flooring so I can only speak for those.

I bought the O-Cedar flip mop at Home Depot because I had read reviews that said it was cheaper there (and it was). However, Home Depot doesn't carry the refill. The concept of the mop is awesome, and it has totally cut down on the amount of time it takes me to clean my floors. I used to sweep and then use the Swiffer Wet Jet. I was able to take my brooms (a traditional broom and a different microfiber broom that did not flip) and wet jet out of my broom closet, and replace it with the O-Cedar mop, a mop refill, and a spray bottle of Bona floor cleaner. I love how wide the head of the mop is. It makes sweeping a breeze, and there is no dirt left behind--it somehow all clings to the microfiber. Even more awesome is that the heads are removable and washable. They come out of the wash looking like new. I hated how wasteful it was to replace the Swiffer pads. I bought the refill so that I wouldn't have to worry about having the head in the wash when I wanted to clean the floor. The quality and stitching is very good. I can tell that this mop and refill are going to last me a VERY long time. UPDATE: I purchased these in 2015, and they're still good as new with very regular use and washing. I love them! I came back to buy some for my mom.

I got tired of buying Swiffer replacement pads and separate ones for wet mopping and dry mopping. I remembered how we had these o’Cedar mop heads when we cleaned our home for sale, and how effective they were, so I purchased a couple of sets of these. I could not be happier, nor could our housekeeper. Not only are they reusable and cost efficient, but they also pick up dust and dust bunnies far better than the Swiffer ever did. All of the little nubs are in use as opposed to just the outer edges of the Swiffer. We also love that we just throw them in the washing machine when we’re done and the cost of water and soap are far less than a package of replacement Swiffer. We also don’t have to spend extra time and extra money to find and purchase the extra long Swiffer, which can be hard to find. We use one of these for every room, first try mopping with the blue nubs, and then wet mopping with the flat side. My dark cherry floors have never looked cleaner, and I’ve never been so streak-free. I’m thrilled to be getting rid of all of my “convenience” staples From when I was single and replacing them with what I should’ve been using all along because they are so much more convenient and effective. I cannot recommend these mopheads enough. They are fabulous, and I knew it, and for reasons I can’t explain, I just simply forgot.

Amazing that it was hard to find the mop head to fit this particular cedar line mop. These are great for hardwood floors or any smooth surface. I also use mine to get dust and cobwebs out of ceiling corners, clean off ceiling fan blades and things of that nature. The mob washes for me just fine - I use a lingerie mesh bag. Air/line dry. Great dust/dry mop combo.

These are easy to use & toss into the wash. I hang them to dry. Love the little loop for hanging them up on a hook to dry. I use the white side to mop & the fingers to dry. You can also use the fingers if you need a little more friction. I use this on laminate & hardwood floors successfully.
