The Bialetti heat diffuser works great. I thought it might take longer to get the pot up to temp but it transfers the heat really well on an induction cook top. It’s also much cheaper to buy the diffuser than an entire pot that is induction compatible. A word of caution, make sure they sent you the correct item. The first diffuser that arrived was not a Bialetti but a no name generic version of really poor quality. I requested a replacement and Amazon took care of it and sent me the real Bialetti I ordered. It worked out ok in the end but it was frustrating to have to deal with the return.

Perfect companion for my Bialetti Moka pot when I go camping. Great quality, looks good and keeps my pot from getting a burned out handle with my camp stove, plus it stabilizes it on the burner! Perfect espresso every time!

My cookware that was specific to my induction stove top has a small pan with a lid but it wouldn't allow it to heat so I had to see what would work without throwing out the pan. The stainless steel plate sits right on top in induction burner and it spreads the heat out to accommodate the small pan to heat boiler otherwise. I was concerned that it might ruin my induction stove top. I tried it out and it was amazing. I was able to save my small pot for small items that I need to cook and it left no marks on the stove top. Was easier to clean if you spill something on it I was very satisfied.

I bought it for my Bialetti coffee maker and it has really been worth it; all the heat from the stove passes indirectly to the coffee maker, which makes it possible for it to maintain its color and shine and prevents it from getting damaged.

Recently bought a house with an induction hob and couldn’t use my aluminum moka pots for my coffee. Saw this, read the reviews. Was a little concerned about folks claiming it ruined their hob by leaving white marks. Yes, it does leave a mark - but a quick wipe with some multipurpose spray and all is good. Very solid. Makes my moka coffee faster than on my old gas stove. Perfect solution and great quality.
