THIS WORKS!!! My doctor said It takes so long to see progress because toenails grow much more slowly than fingernails do—that it has nothing to do with the fungus or this product. Some reviewers say Nonyx is simply vinegar (ethanoic acid, which the reviewers say is the same as vinegar) with thickener (xantham gum). But the thickener is the KEY!!! Ethanoic acid, aka acetic acid, like that used in Nonyx (5-10%), can be stronger than regular household vinegar (1-5%).. However, the label doesn’t state the concentration. When I see labeling that doesn’t “brag” about an ingredient or its strength, I assume there’s nothing to brag about. So, let’s go with the idea that Nonyx and household vinegar are both 5% acetic acid. More on that in a minute. Yes, the xanthan gum does give this product its gel consistency, **but that’s also why the ethanoic acid stays where you want it to instead of running down and off your foot.** So the xantham gum has a true purpose! It helps the active ingredient (ethanoic acid) to be more effective by staying in place and not evaporating. This product really works! I was waiting to use for a while before writing a review. And like many of you I have struggled with food nailing fungus for many years and I have spent a fortune in products that haven’t worked in the long term. But this product really is different. It works exactly as it says by killing all the nasty fungus from your nails and surrounding skin. I have been using for two months now and I just apply it with a toothbrush several times at day. I noticed yellow stuff accumulating around the nail and I scrubbed it with something and continue doing that religiously for these two months now. I noticed that part of my nails that were affected also broke down, which I think is a good thing. I cut all my nails really short today and then I used a electric tool to file them and they look like new! I’m starting to finally see clear, healthy nails. I looked at my feet today and I thought I could go out in sandals, I that’s something I haven’t done in so many years! Buy this product and use it regularly and you will see a change. I also use to get deep pain in my big toes and I haven’t get any pain in two months.

Includes first gross update as the Nonyx works My doctor made sure that my toe had a fungus. He clipped off a good bit and cleaned under the nail. He told me to buy this medication from Amazon. Of course, I followed his recommendation. I noticed it working quickly. I was told to get behind the nail as much as possible and the front. I feel some burning sensation occasionally but it isn’t terrible. I can tell it’s working. He took a pic on my phone of Before and we are going to do an After picture at my next appointment. I’ll share the icky photos at my dr visit. FIRST UPDATE: this medication says it works by getting rid of the fungus food supply. The toenail fungus eats keratin debris, which builds up under the nail. This med smells strongly of vinegar but for me, it’s been worth it to get this cleared up. After using the Nonyx for two weeks, I could see that the nail was lifting up and the nail looked washed out on the surface. I decided to try cleaning out the ‘keratin debris’. When I examined my toe under the light, I could see gross looking stuff under the nail. Like if your fingernails were dirty and that gunk is under the nail. This is like that but so much worse. There’s a lot of gunk and it’s not dirty like fingernails. Everything looks bleached washed out on the surface nail as the Nonyx works. I made sure to always get this medicine under the toenail as far as possible and it sure responded. The keratin debris was so gross. There was so much of it. Cleaning that out as thoroughly as possible kept the fungus from its food source. By the time I got all that keratin from behind the nail, it was easy to see which part of the nail was ready to be cut off to allow new clean nail growth.

It has not been a month yet so i will give realistic ratings and will update my journey! First, i have always been super insecure about my nails. I actually started with athletes foots when i was in high school since my father had it and had a toenail fungus developed after. It never really traveled much until one day i went on vacation with a bf and decided to put acrylic on my toe because i was insecure. That was my mistake because it got WAY worse. I was never consistent. I gave up and now i live in an area where all we do is wear sandals. It’s very humid and hot so I decided to get nonyx! Here are my results from September 4th - September 16th! Prior to nonyx, I could cut my nail without hurting it because i was so dead, but just in about two weeks of consistently applying, i feel like it’s growing? In fact, my nail hurts if i try cutting an area of “nail” that is not dead. Here’s what I do. Morning shower : dry down feet. Remove dead skin or nail with pointy filer. Applt nonyx Night: ACV soak or just warm water soak with 3 drops ot TEA TREE OIL to soften the nail. File as much as i can. File it until it kind of hurts. Scoop dead skin. Remove it with a nail cutter for thick nails. I do this regularly to get rid of that deadness. I did want to add that I also have it on both my pinkies and although I do add it to all 3 infected nails. My pinkies are yet to show any form of healthy nails. I know this is a progress, but I promise to come back and add more pictures. Im very consistent. When i brush my teeth and wash my face, i make sure to make my nails a part of that routine!

I wasn't expecting much, as I've been fighting nail fungus my whole life. But this stuff WORKS. Put it on, let it soak in, then use a pedicure tool to scrape away the keratinous buildup. Over time, it stops coming back. My nails are starting to grow in normal!

This has not only made my toe nail go back to normal, it also got rid of my nail from puffing up in the middle. My nail color is coming back to normal. I highly recommend using this for nail fungus. It has a smell of vinegar but it does not bother me one bit. Its doing what I need it to do and its making my nail back to normal. My foot also feels better as well after using this.

Edit: The company gets five stars for reaching out to offer an unsolicited refund which has been received. I was pleasantly surprised at this exceptional customer service. So at this point I would say, the product seems to have worked for some based on other reviews, but did not for me. Maybe you should try it. It did not work for me. I have tried a few things before purchasing Nonyx Fungal Nail Clarifying Gel. The nice thing is that it can be put on and then dries after a short while so you can wear socks without worry. However, it made my toenails drier and more unhealthy looking. I went back to Vicks Vaporub which seems to work just as well and conditions the nail as well since the Eucalyptus Oil works at conditioning the nail better. The Menthol, Camphor and Eucalyptus work well to seemingly cure the nail if used at least once a day until the entire nail grows out. This is the same amount of time it would take for Nonyx to work. I am sorry that this did not work out for me due to its’ better drying factor. Now I just apply the Vaporub and then and gently wipe off the excess if I have to put on socks.
