well made, heavy duty, works better than any other unit I tried
I like that the base is heavy and the handle stays up. I can set the base in the middle of the room and sweep toward the base, then empty the base in the trash. You don't have to carry the base around since it is sturdy enough to stand on its own. My old unit kept collapsing on me, was fragile, and eventually fell apart. This unit seems to be made of sturdy plastic and steel and could be used in an outside parking lot, if needed. The brush is lightweight enough, and has an extra twist opening in case you want the broom at an angle. I am 6 feet tall, and would have liked a slightly longer handle, but you can replace the handle with any standard handle if you want to make it longer. The broom is good for sweeping both heavy pieces of wood and also lightweight sawdust. The pan lays flat and gets every bit off the floor and into the pan.

Perfect for Commercial Use
I purchased this dust pan and lobby broom set for my restaurant, and it has been excellent. It's sturdy, lightweight, and makes quick cleanups easy throughout the day. The upright design saves your back from bending over, and the broom clips securely to the dust pan for convenient storage. It has held up well with daily commercial use, and I would definitely purchase it again.

I use it daily. Convenient, a little short. Large Dustbin (about 4 deep x 7 tall x 11.5" wide - holds a lot, stands on its own
~~~~~To see how I solved the splayed bristles issue read my UPDATE I wish I would've discovered this item years ago. I've been using this set daily for over a year now. It makes cleaning the floor so much easier. I'm always surprised at how much stuff gets tracked into our kitchen, and stuff gets dropped. It seems like there's always something to clean up. The broom works on the kitchen rug too. I hated, well, hate is a strong word, I really disliked having to lean down with a dustpan in one hand & a broom in the other to clean the floor. Because I intensely disliked the process, I'd pretend I didn't see the mess & clean it up the next day...unless it was too bad then I'd clean it up immediately. Ever since I bought this set, I clean every mess immediately. The set isn't perfect. ~~~It is short, but I am used to it now. Dustpan w/handle stands 35" when sweeping in to it. Broom is 36" tall. ~~~The broom thingamajigs splay out. They were splayed a little until I decided to clean under the stove...a tight squeeze which splayed out more of the thingamajigs...bristles, I'll call them bristles. I'm thinking about cutting some of the bad ones off. UPDATE: Instead of cutting off the splayed bristles, I tightly wrapped painter's tape around the top of the bristles & solved the problem. The broom still sweeps great & the splayed bristles are now held down & not a problem. If you try this, you'll probably need to use enough tape so that it will stick to itself. -- 2nd Update: the painter's tape isn't sticking very good so I'll try something else, maybe a different type of tape, or a shoestring tied tightly or a wide ribbon. ~~~The dustpan is designed so the handle will connect to the dustpan to stand on its own. No need to hold the dustpan while sweeping up the dirt. This is a nice feature, but works so well that when the handle gets close enough it will connect. To disconnect, I put my foot on the dustpan & pull the handle free. I like ~~~that I can store the broom with the pan ~~~the pan pivots ~~~The pan holds a lot! It's huge. I can even sweep up large items if I want...or I can pick them up. The dirt bin is about 4" deep x almost 7" tall x 11 1/2" wide. ~~~I don't have to bend over to use a dustpan. ~~~My floor is cleaner because I like using this set ~~~It's easy to empty. ~~~Both items can be hung. ~~~The dustpan will stand on its own. There are several complaints about the broom. You can buy the dustpan separate if you want. Do not buy if you're over 5ft tall
The handle is way too short, I honestly thought I was missing pieces. To give you an idea of just how short it is, one reviewer, who is 5'3" wrote the broom is too short for her. And another reviewer who wrote the height is just perfect said he is in a wheelchair. If you're above average height, you'd have to bend down to use the broom, so for people looking for a broom set for commercial use or have a larger area to sweep, I'd recommend a long-handle set. Also, the locking bail, the latch to secure the dustpan handle, is overly tight. You need both hands to lock it, and trying to unlock the handle is a gamble of what will break.. it will also send debris flying everywhere and you'll have to re-sweep.
Great broom and dustpan!
I bought this for my garage as I wanted something easy to use and durable for the garage and outside/sidewalk. This broom has a good length (I’m 6’3”). It does a good job sweeping and gathering debris on smooth and uneven concrete. It actually sweeps better than some other brooms I have used/have. The dustpan is durable and leaves little “line” behind. I like that it stands up which saves a bit of space. With the broom attached, it stands and stays in place well. The “bin” also holds a good amount of debris! This was definitely the right purchase for what I was looking for!
Sturdy
This does everything I wanted it to do and it is very sturdy. Lip stays flush to the floor so nothing escapes underneath. Stands by itself with bucket in either position. Snaps into and out of positions a bit stiffly but that tells me it is not going to crap out some day. Broom handle is two sections that click into place and there is a bit of play but I haven't had any functionality issues. Handle screws into brush part of broom and so far has stayed tight. Brush part has two places to screw in the handle, one straight up and the other at an angle, depending on your preference.
Made for a person 5' tall or shorter.
Oh boy, where do I even start with this broom and dustpan combo? It's like a comedy sketch gone wrong. I mean, seriously, who needs a broom that's shorter than a garden gnome? It's like the manufacturers decided to create a broom for the Lilliputians. When I first laid eyes on this broom, I thought I had stumbled upon a child's toy. I could practically hear it giggling at me, saying, "Good luck trying to sweep anything more than a couple of inches tall, buddy!" I never knew my cleaning routine could turn into a full-on yoga session, with all the hunching and bending required just to get a crumb off the floor. And sweeping with two hands? Forget about it! This broom is so tiny, you'd need fingers like a contortionist to even attempt it. I tried to master the art of sweeping with one hand, but it ended up looking like a wacky dance routine rather than a cleaning task. I'm surprised I didn't accidentally start a dance trend in my living room! But wait, there's more! The quality of this broom is just as disappointing as its size. The bristles are as weak as a newborn kitten trying to lift a dumbbell. They don't even have the strength to pick up a stray hair, let alone tackle any real dirt or debris. It's like they're on a permanent vacation, lounging lazily on the floor instead of doing their job. All in all, this broom and dustpan combo is a comedy of errors. It's like the manufacturers set out to create the most impractical and ineffective cleaning tool they could possibly imagine. If you're looking for a broom that doubles as a source of frustration and amusement, then this is the one for you. But if you actually want something that works, save yourself the trouble and invest in a proper broom. Your back and your sense of humor will thank you.
Sturdy, easy to put together and use, works brilliantly!
Handles come in two pieces which fit together perfectly fine for me once I realized what went where. This rests perfectly against the floor and it's very easy to sweep dirt and debris in with little to no dirt line left behind. Not sure why so many other reviewers are having issues with this unless they just received defective parts, or maybe there's a bit of a learning curve with this perhaps? I used these back when I was young'n working at a movie theatre and it's just the same as it was back then. This dustpan is very sturdily built and nice and heavy so it doesn't pick up easy to let dirt under it when sweeping stuff into the bin and you don't have to put extra pressure to hold it down like you do regular dustpans. It's a great feature, and the bin has a lip on it that makes it easy to tilt into the garbage can without having to touch the bottom that was just on the floor. Bonus! If you have bad lower back or balance issues and can't bend over to far to use a regular dustpan, this one is fantastic. The nice thing is that the tab does catch and helps keep the handle straight so it doesn't fall or move or get in the way while sweeping dirt in. To unlatch it just step on the dustbin to keep it from moving, and bend the stick out again and it just snaps right back out; it's quite simple. Also, the broom itself has two slots where you can insert the handle; one straight up and one at an angle to accommodate your preference. Contrary to some of the other reviews, you really can store the broom right in the bin - you just move the stick aside to get the hook part out of the way and pop it in. There's even a nice clip that holds the handles together, and they stand up nice and straight because the bottom of the bin is nice and flat. And if you're careful putting the broom in and don't get all the bristles caught to where they bend back and aren't sweeping sideways, it won't bow out on you either. How it behaves honestly just depends on how you treat it, - it's just like any other broom of this type. The only con is that the bristles want to hang on to any kind of fuzz like mad, and while it has some slots on the bin holder to help, I don't find that it works very well for me. But, since this is pretty much the same for all brooms of this type and a few plastic rungs aren't really a fair match for pet fur, it's not worth knocking off a star.
This works great.
Very sturdy. The broom is excellent. And the dustpan really catches the dirt 100%. No dirt sneaks under the dustpan. Would recommend to a friend. And obviously this is very back-friendly.
Limpieza post-construcción
¡Lo amé! Sí está muy chaparrita la escoba (yo mido menos de 1.60m), pero la usé tras una remodelación, y levanta hasta el yeso en polvo (claro que una parte se esparce en el aire por lo fino que es). El recogedor tiene la rampa dura (lo cual promete durabilidad) pero como quiera no le pide nada a otros, pues sí permite recoger partículas pequeñas (aunque para el polvo más fino, a penas ponerle cinta adhesiva). Y está padre que sea cerrado, para que no se vuelve el polvo al trasladarlo. ¡10/10!
丈夫さはいいが重すぎる
丈夫さは日本の製品にないものですが、重すぎて力の弱い人には扱いづらいところがあります。また、ブラシを収納するたびにワイヤが折れ曲がってしまうため、丁寧に収納しなければなりません。店舗など玄関先を素早く掃除する用途が多いのかとも思いますが、手軽さと堅牢度を両立するような製品づくりが求められると思います。
I love it. with it I can quickly pick up all the wood shaving in my workshop. I have bad knees and getting down to ground level to pick up the mess was murder. Now I do it quickly while standing up and it does a great job.
Practico para uso eventual
El recogedor y la escoba son cortos, los uso en la planta alta de mi casa para alguna emergencia, pensémoslas que el deposito del recogedor giraba pero es fijo. Funcional para emergencias no lo recomiendo para uso frecuente, los materiales son buenos pero es algo caro de acuerdo a lo que ofrece.
