Wow!!! Seriously... WOW!!! These are awesome!
First of all, these noodles are completely flavorless. The only purpose is to add filler to a meal so that you feel like you're eating something substantial. I just "discovered" them today. I ordered them for same day delivery, and I used them to make my dinner. I used the Food Wishes/Chef John video from YouTube to make his Creamy Bay Scallop Spaghetti. I've made it before with actual spaghetti, but this time I used these noodle instead of real spaghetti. It was DELICIOUS! These are absolutely a zero carb spaghetti replacement. The texture is slightly different than real spaghetti, but it's not unpleasant. In fact, I told my wife as I was eating my dinner that if I had grown up eating these noodles rather than spaghetti, I'd probably think spaghetti had a weird texture. These noodles are slightly springy, but not rubbery by any means. I put them into my sauce for the last few minutes as it was cooking, and the noodles absorbed the flavors of the sauce nicely. I have no doubt that I could invite company over for dinner, cook them this "pasta", and if I didn't tell them it was carb-free, FIVE CALORIE pasta, they would have no idea. This stuff is going to become my everyday pasta.

Itโs A Winner
Ok, this is my first time ordering this brand of Konjac noodles and itโs a winner I liked them very much. There was no fishy smell like the other brand I usually purchase, I rinsed them very well in hot water and then added my sautรฉed mushrooms. The noodle are thicker and way less chewy and softer than the other brand. As a plant based diabetic I love that they are high in fiber and next to nill in calories and carbs. My mouth can adjust to different textures but not taste these will definitely be my new low carb noodle staple. I was satiated after eating them and my glucose level did not spike.

They fulfill their promise after much rinsing
They're typical shirataki noodles: no taste, unique texture. They have a much stronger odor than other shirataki noodles I've bought. About a minute of rinsing did the trick. I haven't found shirataki noodles that are more translucent (as opposed to this more pasta-like color) to have the odor. While I'm satisfied with this product, I'm not getting them again. I'm making sure I'm get the translucent kind in the future.

SMELLS LIKE FORMALDEHYDE (FISHY)
Ordered these a few months ago to explore alternatives to high carb pasta. Got busy when a hurricane hit our area and the 8 packet box of them got lost in the back of my cupboard. Pulled them out today to see about using them for a low carb spaghetti lunch and intended to pour some leftover frozen Bolognese sauce atop the noodles for my repast. As soon as I opened the box there was a โfunkyโ smell that was a cross between spoiling fish and formaldehyde. If you are old enough to have ever dissected a rat, frog, baby shark, etc. when you were in high school biology class, you know that you canโt ever forget the creepy and nauseating smell of formaldehyde that imprints upon your brain cells. Both the box and the sealed plastic packets of these noodles smelled exactly like formaldehyde that had been imprinted on my olfactory nerve brain cells. These noodles are made in China (per the box) and the โEngrishโ cooking instructions sure seem to confirm that. I have no animus against Chinese people, food, or culture, and I buy lots of Chinese made products. However, I followed the cooking and rinsing instructions to the letter but I just couldnโt get the formaldehyde stink of these noodles out of my nose. I feared the noodles might actually contain formaldehyde (which is toxic) that would be very bad for my health. As a result, I tossed them all in the trash, box and all (all 8 packets). If I were you, Iโd be real cautious about ordering and eating this product based upon my own personal โsniff testโ experience.

Great gluten free solution
I have been buying these noodles for a very long time, mainly for health reasons. My girlfriend has a gluten intolerance and we wanted to check out something different. We love that these literally are 100% gluten free and are carbless (net carbs; total carbs minus fiber) so it works great as we transition into a keto diet. The noodles are flavorless and take on the flavor of whatever sauce or food we add to them. We love the texture which mimics rice noodles and firmness of regular pasta. The individually wrapped packages are enough portion for two - mind you we also add lots of veggies and we watch our portions. But the individual wrapping makes it convenience to take on the go and to have something filling when we go camping. One last comment - we do rinse the noodles although no mention of this on the box. Out of curiosity my girlfriend tasted them from the bag and they're not bad or anything we just have the habit of rinsing them like we would regular pasta. 3g carbs, 3g fiber, 5 calories, no sugars or protein.

Good but expensive!
When I checked the weight while buying I thought it is a dry product and it should be quite a bit. But when it arrived I realized they all are wet and ready to eat in small packets. There are eight packets inside and each person would easily need at least two packets for a pasta dish. The idea of buying it was to have a stomach full without the extra calories. There is no flavor, which is not bad if your sauce is flavorful. Consider this to be a filler. But I think it is expensive overall and wouldn't buy it again!

Konjac For One
The portion size is perfect for singles. Most packages of shiritaki/konjac noodles in the stores or online are enough noodles for 2-4 servings, and I donโt need or want that much at once, but once you open the pouch, you really need to use them up. I like being able to open a pouch and cook up just enough for my dinner without leftovers, because these noodles are not something I like to eat for several meals running (unlike, say, those korean yam โglassโ noodles for chap chaeโ which I love so much I could put away 4 servings in one day if I let myself). I use these to help control my blood sugar (diabetes), and they do help. This brand absorbed the spices and sesame oil I fried them in better than some shiritaki Iโve had, so they tasted good, but they are still a bit rubbery and require more thorough chewing than normal noodles (choking hazard otherwise; this is a feature of konjac products generally).

Best pasta alternative I have found
I've read the reviews and it looks like this product is either great or awful, depending on your taste and your intestinal composition. I love this stuff! Unlike some other peoples experience, I did not find that they are rubbery, dry, or stinky. They seemed like real noodles to me. I have consumed a package on three different occasions and did not experience any intestinal discomfort. I did notice when reading the package that this product does not contain any nutritional value aside from fiber, which is probably what upsets some peoples digestive tracts. But it is a great tool for my low carb diet and I feel full after eating them with some meat and veggies mixed in. I recommend them if you are on a low carb diet, but based on other reviewers experience, it's probably a good idea to try it in very small quantities the first time.

Great for weight loss
These noodles are great for weight loss, I use them with homemade bolognese sauce, chicken soup and curries. The noodles have no taste, no smell and the texture is the same as pasta. The flavouring comes from what you eat it with. I find the rice, spaghetti and fettuccine shapes the best. The udon is too thick and hard to swallow. I will continue to use them.

Looked for something to replace usual pastas in recipes.
I have to limit my intake of carbs for several months and as I use to eat pastas three times a week with different kinds of sauces, I looked for something that would look and taste like pasta. Eureka, two months ago, I found these Shirataki noodles sold on Amazon. I was amazed by the look and taste of these organic noodles made from plants. They are the best noodles to replace regular pasta if you have to check on your carbs. There is 8 packages (2 portions each) in a box (two shapes). They are ready to eat (just remove the liquid and rinse twice under hot water), fat and sugar free, high fiber, vegan with no Sodium or Cholesterol. I highly recommend this product. Suzanne

It is like rubber bands. Does not dissolve
Please don't buy. I have tried numerous zero carb/calorie noodles and they are all soft. This is something weird and may not dissolve or breakdown properly in your stomach. Beware

It was ok, the texture was rubbery
The noodles were ok. I cooked mine in a broth. But they are rubbery.
