I bought this to refresh a worn-out center console, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Here is why it’s a great buy: • Easy to Install: The installation was straightforward and took very little effort. It’s designed to fit right over the existing armrest, so there’s no complicated disassembly required. • Great Fit: I was worried about it being loose or bulky, but it fits like a glove. This is a perfect fit for my car. Nice stitching and good quality. The color matching was a bit off but it really gave a refreshing look to the center console.

I got this as a replacement for the very flat and worn center console lid on my daughter's 2010 Accord. The color is a perfect match to the existing upholstery and the install was very straightforward - the screw holes lined up with the lower lid holes and I had the whole job only took about 10 minutes once I figured out that the lid slides forward to give access to the rest of the screw holes. The only way you can tell this is diffierent than OEM is the center seam, which is no biggie.

Looks great and fit well. Only took about 10min to install. We will see how it wears.

I spoke with Honda Parts at my local dealership and they indicted I could not buy just the top cover piece (which is what this part is). Honda said I would have to buy the complete assembly which included the box and the cover (which is $700). I have a 2009 Honda Accord. Pic #1 is my old cover. The trick is to slide the cover forward before attempting to remove the 7 screws (see Pic #5 for screws). Similar to another reviewer the company did not do a great job of ensuring the leather-like material was clear of the mounting tabs and holes. There is also a small vertical tab in Pic #2 where I had to trim the material so it would install properly. Pic #3 shows an example of one of the mounting holes where I had to trim the material back. It was very easy to do with a sharp wallpaper blade. Easy-Pesy-not big deal. Pic #4 shows all of the material I had to cut away (not much at all!). It helped a lot to have a flashlight as I lined up the mounting holes with the top of the box. This also allowed me to see if the holes were blocked by the material. In two cases I had to push and flex the cover a little bit for the mounting holes to line up, but this is not difficult. Pic #6 is the installed item. This part gets a 5 star review because it saved me a lot of money and looks great! And other than a little trimming it is well made. Be CAREFUL not to overtighten the metal screws or you could strip the plastic. Just snug them up. After all you are not assembling a nuclear reactor!
