20V Max XR Cordless Router, Brushless, Tool Only (DCW600B)

This is my first router and it’s a fantastic piece of kit – very powerful and super easy to use. I’ve in used it on a few DIY projects so far but I am very impressed. Good price too, I managed to buy here for £30 less than anywhere else online.

I’ve used a lot of different routers. Makita, festool, trend, Bosch etc, but this is by far the best one. Very quiet, easy to change bits and very easy to adjust depth. I already have a lot of DeWalt tools and the UK 18v batteries for and work perfectly. Also managed to get it at a very good price, £80 cheaper than in the uk.

This seemed to good to be true with how cheap it was, really good product!

Really like this trim router easy to use illuminates the work surface well powerful one hand use no problem only complaint no extras with this tool and plunge base and other add ons are expensive other than that it's a premium machine.

Absolutely brilliant router. As with all dewalt products, the build quality is excellent. I find the balance of the dewalt router to be better than the milwaki or the makita, which feel top heavy. The dewalt is so easy to use. The depth adjustment is fantastic, and makes using it in a router table very easy. I used the router with a 4ah battery for grooving and moulding work, and it still had power at the end of the day.

Very good value. Quiet, comfortable to use and the brake works very well. Works with standard uk 18v batteries and easy bit change.

Great tool

After using this, i have now put my well loved but corded router. Powerful even for a battery operated router. The brake is wonderful and the LED lights helps as i mostly do my work after work and day light is limited. Will be getting the dust extractor, definitely needed.

精密な深度調整部分と頑丈な作り。さすがはDeWALT。 モーターの音は思ったほどうるさくは無い。パワーも自分の使用範囲では不足なしです。 ただ、手の小さな自分にはこの直径は大きいかと。バッテリーに関しては形の小さな2Ahぐらいが使いやすい。写真では暗くて分かりずらいが、細かくて、加工部分が数多い物にもコードが無いので取りかかりやすいと思います。

Very high quality useful tool for trimming and 'circle cutting.' As with most cordless trim routers, it is going to be a little challenging to hold with one hand for those with smaller hands. Bare in mind that if you buy the optional ‘dust collection attachment,’ it will obscure the slot located at the ‘locking button’ where you would normally look in to see the progress of the router. See the attached pics for this. But, this is not really an attribute of how the router itself performs. When fitted with the dust collector, it does do a terrific job of removing nearly ALL shaving though. So, it is a catch 22 of whether seeing the bit progress is more important than ‘picking up all the shavings.’ To use the gap to see ‘bit progression,’ you would still have to wear goggles anyway because – obviously – that is where the shavings will fly out. Just thought I would mention it though in case other are like me and like to eyeball the bit as it travels.
