Finest Thai Fish Sauce Nam Pla 300 ml

I'd heard lots of good things about this fish sauce and was excited to give it a try. It was way beyond my expectations, which I'll admit were pretty high. This stuff did not disappoint! The taste is salty (hey, it's fish sauce) but not super-salty like some fish sauces. After the initial salt hit, there's an umami explosion of epic proportions! The overall flavor is so well balanced and so delicious that I can see this fish sauce easily becoming my go to, especially for dipping sauces.

This is the best fish sauce I have ever tried! Please be clear that it is not made from abalone it is made like other fish sauces just at a higher quality. The brand name is abalone.

I've tried many different brands and types. I found this brand and type to be the best taste wise by far. Many different flavors included for your palate. Can use alone and don't need to mix to make flavorful. It is strong on the salt flavor as you would expect. I found to mix with sweet and citrus the best combination for this fish sauce. I will stick to this brand until someone points out better, if?

From my wife: This fish sauce is perfect for us. We don't use fish sauce often so the small bottle is a plus. Since I'm not a huge fan of fish sauce but I need it occasionally in a recipe, this one works best since it has a more pleasant taste and scent than some of the other brands.

Good quality and taste, but too expensive.
