better than expected
I like the setup of these, legal sized with clip on the long side is ideal for petitions. The board while nothing fancy, is better than the cheap ones I was expecting, the clip seems to be quality also

Nicked on edges
They were thinner than I expected and the edges were dinged in, but the surfaces were smooth and they are a nice size. Definitely usable

BETTER THAN EXPECTED
I bought these for an unconventional purpose -- to use almost as a lap desk. I work on many small parts at once. This big clipboard is even better than expected. I can clip some paper on, which I often use to test ink or marker colors, and still have lots of room to line up a group of the little pieces I'm working on -- and I can have these on each workbench so I can move from project to project. The little tab that extends from the metal clip will allow me to hang the clipboard from a peg if needed. Good value. Perfect!!! Note: Aug. 28, 2025 -- Just ordered another four of these. They're terrific!!

The 11x17 boards is perfect for what I needed. I can tape about two 5x7 sketch cards or anything paper under 11x17 to it . The clips with pull out hooks is a nice to have. The boards itself is nice and sturdy for everyday drawing and painting uses. Highly recommended...
