Had roughly 2.5 years. Still happy with. Breaks down big chunks, butterflies easily and pieces out chicken quickly and precisely. Do not use to break breast bone, not designed for that. Use your heavy knife for that. Right tool for the right job. Blade stays scalpel sharp and if not, a few strokes with a steel brings back to perfect. The handle fits my hand nicely. I was concerned about the wood handle but it has held up over time better than expected with near new shine. As with any knife you care about, never put them in the dish washer.

My favorite knife period. Very comfortable and stays sharp. If I knew better, I would say it is made from Valyrian steel using dragonfire to forge it. This knife is amazing! Definitely worth it.

This is a reviiew of the Victorinox 6" Professional Boning Knife, Curved Blade, Semi-stiff, Maple Wood Handle 5.6606.15 This is the tool for sectioning chicken wings. It is so insanely sharp that I had no idea I was cutting bones, it felt like I was just cutting through tough chicken skin. I've used company provided boning knives and no matter they were always dull AF by the end of the day. I don't use this at work as they wouldn't pay for a knife this good, so I just have to sharpen the junk knives they provide every day before use. I use this at home and won't part with it. Yes, they are better than the fibrox handled knives because they are a really heavy duty 3/4 tang-3 rivet and the fibrox is a partial tang design. There is a world of difference. Yes, you'll still need to maintain it, like any of you other tools. If you want a flexible boning knife, it makes less of a difference. If you need it for fileting fish, get the fibrox handle flexible one, if you'll be mostly sectioning chicken wings-get the semi-stiff wood handle one. Trust me. Very sharpe knife just what I was looking for

I love this brand. I do a lot of squirrel, pheasant, and deer hunting and fishing and this brand never let's me down. I needed a shorter blade that would hold it's edge while processing the deer and other animals we harvest. I love how beautiful the handle is and smooth. The only thing that would make this a 5 star knife is a sheath or case. I really wish they would make covers for these. Beautiful craftsmanship and like I said before, this is one of the only brands that hold their edge through a whole deer process. I can't say enough nice things about the quality of this knife. Worth every penny I spent on it because I know it's going to last me.

This knife looks & feel great in my hand. Could've paid less for the plastic handle version but opted for the Rosewood handle. Very sharp, stiff blade, perfect for trimming sinew & fat. My old chef knife is great for most job but tend to get a bit awkward for fine trimming. This one fits the bill.
