This is a comprehensive book that helps to understand the tools, fabrics and design needed to make a one of a kind purse/bag. It is written for everyone that has an interest in becoming unique with their own style. The illustrations and instructions are amazing. It gives the reader unlimited choices and promotes self creativity. The patterns are an awesome addition.

This is a great book with some advanced techniques for making purses. I’ve been sewing over 40 years and love to learn new things so this was perfect for me. Some techniques took me some time to understand just by reading but the sample patterns really helped me practice the steps and the purses so far turned out great. This book has several patterns so it’s a great value for the patterns alone. I have been making purses for about 8 years now and still learned many new tips. Thanks!

I have been making bags for many years but acquired this book for some new ideas & techniques. It delivered for sure. It is informative, a great book for a new bag maker yet her approach & guidance is great for an experienced bag maker as well. I have already picked up some ideas & suggestions. This book also offers patterns - it's always great for some new ideas!

I use this book as reference. It is informative and a resource for different techniques. Each chapter covers a different basic portion of bags. Foundation, pockets zippers etc. Definitely worth the money

I make womens handbags, purses and wallets. I have found this book to be very helpful. It sometimes has the answer to a question I might have along the way.

This book was a great buy. I made a bag in it for a more advance sewer. The different sections for explanations on techniques are great. There were several bags I liked and enjoyed making one. It will be an awesome addition to my sewing reference library.

I waited several weeks to receive the print version of this book but was disappointed with the print size and light color. The book has great information however I needed a magnifying glass to read it. I have never encountered this before so it was quite distressing. I found that Amazon had a Kindle version that I can read without eye strain. I will be returning the print version.

附属の型紙はあるが、肝心の作り方部分の写真がいかんせん少ない。 「そこを文章で説明するなら、後2枚は製作途中の写真を載せて」と 思うことが多々ある。 が、前半部分にまとめられた「テクニック篇」は意外と便利だし バッグ自体のデザインも良いので、バッグ作りが好きな人は持っておくのもいいと思う

I bought the kindle version and loved it. I was able to read it clearly, highlight and write notes for next time I read this (I will definitely re-read this again in the future). The explanations were clear as were the illustrations. I loved the fact there were projects at the end of the book for me to try - starting at the beginner level. Mrs. H didn't write this for advanced sewists, but also for novice ones. It is definitely an essential addition for my library. Imo, It was definitely well worth the price and I would recommend this book to any one who is interested in learning how to make bags. And if Mrs H writes another bagmaking book, I will be sure to purchase that one as well.
