Great kettle. Love the style and finish. Very well made, pours well and is not very noisy when boiling. We use it in a soft water area so no issue with limescale Is this the one Jamie has in his Eat Yourself Healthy series? Good choice Jamie!!!!

I love this kettle. It's quick, quiet, looks fab and works a treat. However, the small scale filter in the spout is not fit for purpose. It's fiddly to remove for cleaning and is very, very flimsy. Within a few months it had broken, but on the Swan website, a new filter costs almost £10!!! Assuming I need to replace it every three months, that doubles the price of this kettle in the first year alone. I cannot imagine the filter costs more that 20p to manufacture, so this is an obscene price to charge, but without a filter it is very poor. I've just found a nylon tea strainer for £2.50 on Amazon from which I should be able to make five replacement filters. It's a solution, but appalling that I should have to take these steps with such an otherwise high-quality kettle. Shame on you, Swan!

Beautiful design and an excellemt kettle.

Purchased using gift vouchers in June 2021. A little disappointed as the handle is coated and not wooden but love the quirky retro design and colour, so unusual and a bit of treat to have something so different! It's a bit tricky to keep clean and scale free (we live in very hard water area) but outside wipes down. The boiled water tastes awful but found if you wait for the boiling and simmering of the water to stop before you pour the water into your cup, the taste disappears. Horrible, tastes like TCP. The scale filter isn't fit for purpose if you don't keep it scale free, it just pours through. October 2021 I noticed the coating on the handle peeling. So I reached out to Swan to help as it was still fairly new. I received a copy/paste response from their customer service team who clearly hadn't read my message or understood the nature of the issue. In order to get a refund or credit you have to write in permanent marker all over the appliance, cut the cord and submit pictures to their customer service and wait for approval. How bloody stupid is that? I'd have to buy a kettle in the meantime or use my hob to boil water which isn't a massive issue, worse things going on in the world than a peeling kettle handle, but the inference that in order to get a refund or a replacement you have to prove you will no longer use the product. I don't like that, that somehow I'm having to prove I'm not lying or intend to be dishonest? A replacement was offered but why would I want the same product with the same fault anyway? I would have been happy with a goodwill gesture or some credit towards a new alternative Swan product if they couldn't go for a full refund. But they took the hard line and I'm not digging that. Nope, Swan. You got it wrong this time. I'll keep using the peely handle kettle and then when the time comes, I'll chose an alternative and better quality brand. won't be buying the matching toaster now, either.

This is a great kettle, my second in this design. I really appreciate the simple clean lines, with its conical shape. the lid is therefore easy to access and take off for filling. Also easy to wipe clean. I also really like this colour, but that's subjective of course! I had a grey on before - so Swan's unusual and softer shades make them stand out from the usual black and reds etc, whilst also blending nicely into the kitchen. Fast to boil when new, but like most (all?) kettles, seems to take longer as it ages.

I am very happy with my new (white) kettle, I love the style of it, it is lightweight with a great big handle and it is quick to fill as the lid removes easily. It is quiet, boils fast and pouring is easy. So far I’ve had no problems.

Basic kettle. Wood-like veneer peels off the handle after time. Pours badly. Silver swan logo peels off. Body of kettle gets hot - my previous kettle was much better insulated. Buy this kettle for aesthetics only for short term or for decoration. It gets tedious taking lid on and off.

Tengo a precisare che il prodotto ricevuto (ho acquistato giorni prima anche tostapane e micronde) è ottimo e rispecchia tutte le mie aspettative. Arrivato ben imballato, unico neo è l'informazione sulla tracciabilità. Tolto questo aspetto tutti i prodotti acquistati sono ottimi.

Looked good for about 8 months, then the handle started to peel even though we don't use any abrasives or soaps on it. I was informed that the warranty does not cover this. Otherwise good.

Fast billing and looks good. Using an adapter plug but works well. Easy to keep clean.
