XBOX LIVE IS ELITE!!!!
Xbox live is a wonderful thing to have. you could meet new people from all over the world and make life long friends with them like i did. Xbox live lets you chat with friends, play with friends, get game discounts, watch exclusive events, download apps like nfl network and wwe network, watch nfl, and do lots more. Some games are not for young kids but its your decision. Xbox live has changed my life. Meeting new people and becoming involved in video game tech. I love my xbox one and have been nothing but a xbox fan. In my opinion xbox is better then ps4 for a number of reasons. although xbox live could get a little pricey you could just pay 60 dollars and have live for a full year. i would recommend buying the 12 month gold membership instead of the 3 month or what ever else their is. If you do the math the full year is a lot cheaper. i would recommend xbox to everyone and have bought my cousin, dad, and a good friend who doesn't have much an xbox one and they all love the system and xbox live. My friends who have played on play station their whole life have switched to xbox one and xbox live due to the amount of stuff you could do on xbox live. Also xbox is sending out updates every month that improve your xbox live experience. This is a very good christmas, birthday, graduation gift and adults and kids love playing xbox one. The xbox one concsole is some what expensive but its worth the money because you will really enjoy playing. i am a very big wwe fan and i have met people from china and europe that come to america for wrestle mania each year to join me in all of the fun all because of xbox live. I know xbox live will be getting better every month for the rest of xbox live life for many years to come. also for kids avatars also known as your personal character is very cool to build and play with. with xbox live you could buy the games you want digitally and not have to worry about scratching your disk or loosing your disk. Also if you buy xbox live and put it on your xbox you could go over your friends where ever he lives and you could log onto your account and have your downloaded games ready to play. i recommend buying the 1 tera bite except for the 500 gb due to the amount of storage space which means how many games can be downloaded into the xbox. Theirs all types of bundles your could choose from but its really your choice. If you decide to buy an xbox one buy an extra controller with play and charge kit, key pad for controller, extra head set, and make sure to buy 1 or 2 games to get started. If its your first time you will need to get used to the software and games but its all about the fun and the excitement for gaming. Xbox live is the elite package and is a once in a life time experience. GET IT NOW!!!

Works and Saves money!
There really isn't a whole lot to say about this purchase. It was $15 cheaper than buying it through Microsoft or any other store. I was sent a 100% new code card in the mail, code worked fine. About Xbox live: I have been a member of Xbox live for over 10 years now and love it. Xbox live is one of the best ways to interact with people. I have met some of my best friends on Xbox Live. There are some annoying jerks that talk trash from time to time, but you can't keep people from speaking their minds. For what you get, it is very much affordable. I found it funny when people gave Xbox live a bad rating because it caused them to to drop loads of money into it for their kids... That isn't really a justifiable excuse to give a 1 star rating. I wouldn't allow younger children to interact or talk as much online for what some people say or how they act. It can be regulated for younger children but in my opinion more for adults. It is well worth the money, especially with all of the applications and features that have been added over the years. You can even buy digital copies of games that often are cheaper than buying them at the store. Again, love Xbox live. Other complaints I would like to address: People complain about the fact that to have Xbox live, they require a credit card. They don't randomly charge your card, part of it is for account recovery, and it makes purchasing anything on Xbox live easier. There has not been problems with credit card theft on the 360's Xbox live. People also complain that you have to pay. That you can play the same games (not true - halo, gears of war, etc) for free on pc or ps3. The thing is, you are paying for security, better servers that don't have as much lag, and a tremendous amount of features that the others systems don't provide. The ps3 servers for example, were hacked, more than once. The servers are not nearly as efficient either. This is all from experience. No matter what, a PC will almost always be better than a console in any respect, so they shouldn't even be compared. Consoles are a much more affordable way to have good games run well. You can easily drop $1500-$5000 on a gaming pc, I built one myself last summer. If you are unsure if you want to pay for it, don't buy a whole year, buy a one or three month pass, try it out, and see if you like it.

Free games and online play
I bought this a couple of years ago and it always has been worth it. You would get a couple of free games each month and you get to play any game online with this. Overall it's worth it.

12 Month XBox Live Gold Card
Amazon had this on sale for $35, which is a steal compared to the regular $50 a year through Microsoft or even the regular price of $40 through [...]. XBox Live really is necessary to take full advantage of the full XBox 360 experience and is worth the investment. When you look at the price per month at a sale price of $35 it equals out to just under $3 a month ($2.92/month), which is less then a burger at most fast food joints. Even at the full $50 it is just over $4 a month ($4.17), which is still considerably less then the $7.99 a month default when you pay per month. Signing up to pay per month might cost you less out of pocket initially, but it equals out to nearly twice as much per year as buying this 12 month card ($95.88/year) in comparison. As for the XBox Live service itself, I love it. Having a Netflix subscription I can stream movies/TV sessions through the XBox 360 (some even in HD) straight to my TV with any of the unlimited plans. This in and of itself is worth the small fee and is how I convinced my wife that it was worth getting even though we are on a tight budget right now ;). The ability to play with my personal friends who live in other states without having to travel hours to see them is just to good to pass up. Even though nothing beats being able to play video games in the same room as your buddies, online is still great fun and a perfect alternative for those who live too far away to visit regularly. If you really want to see everything that you get with an XBox Live subscription just check out wikipedia ([...]) which it gives a good listing of everything you really get by having an XBox Live subscription. In my honest opinion, it is worth it.

Best value option available for xbox live
Having an xbox without xbox live is like having a new fancy car with no wheels. Yes it is fun to play around inside, sit there and pretend you are the 'G', but alas the real fun and opportunity begins when you can take it for a drive around the world. Microsoft know this, hence why they charge for the xbox live. Rather than a review on xbox live, I'm going to comment on this particular product. I ordered the physical card - why? - because for some reason its $10 cheaper than the online code. Amazon - Please change this! Help the environment and our children by offering the online code at the same price. It's quicker; it requires no packaging and should costs you less. This purchase for me, however, was a money saving one. I went with the cheapest option. Up until now I had used up one three months free trial and xbox had defaulted to monthly billing ($7.99 from memory). Now you don't have to be a mathematician to work out, that $7.99 added up over the year is a lot more than buying this twelve month card. Also, once the card expires it DOES NOT default back to monthly billing - encouraging me to go out and get another 12 month card, saving even more money. I don't resent Microsoft charging for xbox live, its a great service. I even invested in a Netflix subscription recently to use that service through my xbox - also brilliant (includes HD streaming). I do resent paying almost double for no reason though. My recommendation - look for the best offer on a 12 month subscription and you will save yourself cash every time.

Much better than purchasing from Microsoft.
Having just recently purchased an XBOX360 Kinect system I was new to this whole XBOX Live thing. I own a Wii system and have been watching Netflix Instant on it, but we no longer had it in the living room and I was looking for a new Netflix player and the Kinect was very exciting to me. So we finally caved and got an XBOX. It included a month of Live Gold and while it was certainly easy to continue that using the console and a credit or check card.. I was leary. A friend of mine at work had told me she'd tried cancelling her XBOX live account multiple times and they continue to charge her card so every month she has to do a chargeback to get those funds back. Others have had mysterious XBOX Live charges appear on their cards and they don't even own XBOX systems. This just made me concerned about giving them my card information. Another friend mentioned the prepaid cards and stated they are often cheaper than buying the monthly subscription. BOY was he right! If you sign up to pay month-by-month, they charge you $9.99. I purchased this 12 month pre-paid card for the price of 4 months! Granted, you get a discount for paying a year in advance, but the cards are still cheaper. And there is no risk of anything happening to my credit card number. I trust Amazon way more than Microsoft! :)

Much better than the alternative!
I never look at the date reviews are posted until after I've read a few. I'm reviewing my experience from December of 2010 (though you know that since the moment I brought up the date you looked at it). Xbox Live (XBL) Gold is pretty much a requirement if you have an Xbox, are over the age of 15, and you like playing games with others. If you like Fallout, Oblivion, or Assassin's Creed (1 or 2, but not Brotherhood), then you probably don't NEED Xbox Live Gold. While some single player games (I'm a fan of the previously mentioned ones) are great fun, I'd wager that the Xbox is most well know for multiplayer games (Halo, Left 4 Dead, Fable III, etc) and you can't utilize those features without a Gold membership. In addition to multiplayer action, you also gain access to your Netflix subscription and LastFM services. I think you get EPSN content too, but I don't care about most sports, so I've never looked into it. Microsoft raised the yearly subscription fees related to XBL Gold back in November, but this card is $15(/25%) cheaper than what Microsoft is asking for. Honestly, I like the idea of keeping $15 in my pockets. I got it shipped for free with Amazon Prime and inputing the Prepaid code is ridiculously simple. If you feel like saving $15, buy a prepaid card on Amazon. If you don't feel like saving your money... it is a little bit faster to buy it straight from Microsoft. (I bought it for $45 on December 6, 2010, Microsoft charges $59.99/year)

Best Price for Live
Xbox Live is not free like PlayStation Network, but there is a reason they make you pay for it. Xbox 360 was designed with online gaming in mind, and as such Xbox has the most robust online gaming features of any console. Hooking up with friends is easy, creating and joining parties and games is a breeze, and since every Xbox comes packaged with a headset, you know you'll be able to communicate with other players, which is a big deal for online games. Gold members get access to demos early, features such as Facebook, Twitter, Last.fm, Netflix, and more, plus access to the best online gaming service around. I have both an Xbox and a PS3, and the online service and features on Xbox are far superior to PS3. The speed and connection on Xbox is better, with far less lag and dropped games than PS3. Now, Xbox Live can get expensive, so the best value for your money is the prepaid 12 month card. For starters, a 12 month card costs less per month than the 1 or 3 month cards. Second, if you buy a card you don't run the risk of being overcharged with recurring payments. If you pay for Xbox Live through your Xbox by credit card, they will automatically renew your subscription when it expires without telling you, and continue to charge you until you call them. And they make it difficult to cancel. The prepaid card eliminates this headache and is much safer. Third, if you shop around, you can get the $50 card for much cheaper. I got the 12 month gold card for $30 from Amazon, which comes to $2.50 per month, plus no tax and no shipping cost. If you want the best online experience you want Xbox Live, and if you want Xbox Live you want the prepaid card, and if you want the prepaid card, you want it from Amazon.

Bom!!!
Chegou conforme o combinado. Porém, vieram 12 cartões de 1 mês de live cada ao invés de um único cartão com 12 meses. Estou utilizando o 1º normalmente e até agora tudo ok, recomendo a compra.
