The package of my sim card was ripped open when it arrived. There was a label saying that the sim card had been removed for preactivation. Is it o.k?

hello, we open the sim cards to pre-activate them and make sure that they work before shipping them, sim cards are new and haven´t been used before.

Do these have a date they have to be activated by? i don't want to use it until december. do i have to wait to buy?

About right. It is cheaper to buy at a convenience store in Mexico. Most people get the 200 or more pesos chip refill for a better deal if you are there longer.

Prior. You have to tell the seller (I think by email) what day you will arrive in Mexico and they activate the card and load your service (whatever one you buy) one day before you arrive. Works great. But you pay much more than you would to do it with Telcel in Mexico. You pay for the convenience of having service when you arrive. I don't know why Amazon won't let you upload a photo any more - only videos now?! - I was going to upload the instructions that come with the sim card.
