Poor product
Beware! I purchased two bulbs for my penlight. One did not work at all and the other only lasted a few weeks. I have been using these bulbs for my penlight for 10+ years and they typically last ~6 months. I contacted the seller for a replacement (not a refund) and they told me to contact Welch Allyn if the bulbs did not work. Please do not purchase from this seller. They do not stand behind the products they sell.

The only relialble replacement bulb for you Welch Allyn PenLite
These isn't much to say since this is a product that is specifically for the Welch Allyn PenLite Professional. However it is a manufacturer replacement and will not let you down. the price is a bit high to constantly change the bulb but it will last you longer than any penlight will. The halogen will provide you with a better and more accurate representation of tissue and won't be discolored like LED penlights.

Used briefly only a few times, and stopped working. Doesn't last
Barely used it and it died somehow. It also doesn't make the sound as the one I burnt out before (I accidentally left the light on originally so needed it replaced for that reason. And the original one lasted years before that).

Long life lightbulb
This penlight is excellent however not for the current price. Just the lightbulb is $25. I’m not sure I would’ve bothered if I didn’t already have the pen to go with it. But it does last a long time
