Good CLP

The best CLP, just ask the military.
This is THE CLP. All others are imposters, that's why they have and have had the US military contract for years. All the other stuff either gums up, burns off or freezes in the cold. Save yourself the trouble and just use this. The g96 gun treatment and gun oil (g96 gun treatment aerosol and liquid g96 gun oil are the same product, difference is spray vs liquid) are good as a preservative, smell good, but this product is the best CLP. The clp does not smell at all. The preservatives, mentioned above small like eggnog. This CLP does all 3 decently, clean lubes and protects. I use it as the oil, in all my guns and have had no problem for a long time. For long term storage or for collectable, not as often shot guns, I store with g96 gun treatment, the good smelling stuff. Get the clp and gun treatment and your set.

Pretty good oil
05/24/2022 I've used hoppes elite in the past and was always pleased with its performance. I still have a bottle of it. I've have used this oil a few times already and have to say I'm pleased with how well it does. It definitely cost a lot more than hoppes and honestly for my applications I really haven't noticed a difference yet. Maybe when the weather gets cold again I may notice a difference but it's hard to buy something that cost 3 times of what the normal oil I use but so far so good. Does what it's supposed to but it has been very nice weather.

Great lubricant
I recently started using this CLP and prefer it over the previous product that I had been using for years. I feel G96 stays slicker longer, much preferred over the previous brand I had been using.

Doesn't burn off
G96 works great on any firearm including AR-15’s. It doesn’t burn off like many other oils and seems to make cleaning easier. I’ve been using this product for several years in the cold and heat and it’s never let me down.
