My old pair say "10w". what size is10w? is that the 2e or 3e?

As a rule of thumb I have always considered mens wide to equal 2e and xw to equal 4e. However this shoe is wider fitting than a typical shoe so I would consider it closer to a 3e for the wide width. Darcy, Golf Stuff
