Compares to the supplement that I was taking previously until it became temporarily unavailable. In fact, I suspect it's the same parent company which makes both the Nova Nutritions and Best Naturals version of this supplement. The only difference I can see on the label is that the Nova Nutritions version doesn't mention that it doesn't contain eggs. That may be important if you suffer from a poultry allergy as the FDA considers eggs to be a poultry product. The Best Naturals product clearly states it doesn't contain eggs. However, the omittance of this disclosure on the Nova Nutritions label might be just a typo error but who's to say? Other than that everything else about both supplements is actually the same. The capsules are the same size and the potency per capsule remains exactly the same. The Nova Nutritions version though does cost around $5.00 less. However, it seems like neither version of the supplement is readily available for purchase at the same time here at Amazon. Not surprising, both factories which manufacturer these supplements are located in New Jersey and are conveniently located just 6 miles from each other. Honestly, I suspect the only difference between the two versions is supply availability at each factory to ship likely at any given time. That's actually very good news for us as a consumer. It means that at most times either version should be readily available to ship when it's sold here at Amazon. In using the product for myself including my beloved senior dog I've found no difference in the degree of effectiveness as both work very well at controlling pain. This chelated version of supplements is the only type I will buy. Why? It's because the cheaper sold HCL versions you see on the market everywhere simply don't work. I've also found no adverse side effects when using Nova Nutritions. No upset stomach or irregularity. The capsule version here is convenient in treating your dog as it comes apart to alter the dosage amount based on your actual pet's weight. It's great for humans and your pet. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and whenever it shows as being in stock I highly recommend you make the purchase. Putting it simply ~ It works and It's money well spent.

It does wonders for my back & it helps with mobility

This is a new brand for me Like i say the price is excellent, the daily dose is a bit too much for me (3 pills), there are other options that give you more at less dose. Despite that, it is a good product. It has helped mi father-in-law (76 years) with his knee problems (he walks too much and have much pain because he is an active person), has taken at least 3 years in a row and we see an improvement. His knee doesnt hurt much, just a little but he feels great. So far so good!!! Recommended!!!
