I am now happy with them... but..
I am now satisfied with these but you should basically ignore the fitting guide. These are meant (apparently) to be fully inserted in the nostrils with the plastic half-ring tight against your septum. For me - as soon as i tried fitting them this way it wasn't long before at least one of the filters would turn side-ways in one of my nostrils resulting in ineffective filtration. There doesn't seem to be anything to grip them and keep them in place when fully inserted. However - what i noticed was is that there is a groove in the design of the filters. I found that by inserting them at the very edge of my nostrils i could get this groove to slot in-between and grip the cartilage at the entrance of the nostrils. I have demonstrated this with some pictures that i have added. Once slotted in place at the entrance of the nostrils they stay put (at least for me) but ONLY if you purchase a size one size larger than actually fits you. I initally bought the medium size - which was about the right size for me and although these slotted in ok and were comfortable there was still enough 'play' in them to eventually work themselves loose, (but not always). I then bought the large size - at first i found them uncomfortable as they really did stretch my nostrils but i soon got used to this. I also found them MUCH easier to breath through than the medium set as my nostrils were being forced wider. The extra size kept them firmly in place and they have not come loose since. The only difficulty is in the initial fitting as the larger size takes some practice to slot into place. Although they are more noticeable when inserted at the entrance of the nostrils they are still far less noticeable than walking around with a face mask on all the time. Once used i then remove them and clean them with an alcohol wipe and store them in the provided carrying case. I keep using the same set until they begin to darken and then i switch to a new set. I have also noticed that if i breath in through my nose and out through my mouth i get less 'runniness' in my nose. It is a real pain having to remove them to blow your nose. All in all i am now happy with them and i will continue to use them - i hope this review has been helpful.

These work (sort of)
They worked well for me, however they are a bit fiddly to wear - although you get used to them. If you struggle with allergies then this is probably worth having

I like how they have a trial size package to see what size you need to order. They seem to work well I use it for wood dust

I am glad I bought the different size. I was assuming my nostrils were a medium but turns out the large fit better. I have been sneezing so much, even after taking a lot of allergy meds. These things do help alot. My daughter’s boyfriend smokes weed at their house and it really makes my nose tingle and makes me sneeze. I wore these while over there and I couldn’t smell the weed. I took them out briefly to see if it actually smelled like weed and yep, it did! I stuck the filters back in. They take a bit of getting used to but it’s way better then sneezing

So I was sitting at home, lamenting the fact that the cottonwoods/poplars and pollen, and warehouse dust just kill me every day and make me feel miserable. And I was thinking, you know, it would be great if I could just shrink down a filter and have it sit in my nose. I checked Amazon, and sure enough, there it was. I ordered it, and tried them out that very next day. I have included a photograph of what the filter looks like before my workday, and after my workday which includes working in a warehouse, walking through wooded pathways with poplar/cottonwood flying around, under pine trees with pollen, and sitting next to some fresh cut grass. ALL of those things used to cause me misery. I am definitely happy with this product. It feels so weird to have your nose feeling a filter for hours on end, but I am able to calm the anxiety of that, but reminding myself that I at least KNOW what is in my nose. A filter, no boogers or weird pieces of whatever is floating in the air. Definitely loving this, and will be ordering tons more. It's worth the money (kinda) for me to get to breathe easily and not freak out about inhaling crap all day long. I got both the medium and the large sizes, since some days i get some nasal inflammation that causes me to need the mediums. uploaded another image with measurements and packaging

If your confused on size to get, as a 6ft and 210 pound white male I would get the large size. It works wonders as a welder. Its appearance is very discrete. It took me some time to find the right nostril size for me. Its cheap and relatively inexpensive. As for comfort, it does dry out the ends of my nostril after some time and can be irritating. Its easy to use as it sits on the end of the nostril but not inside the nose.
