one of the units is defective . balance volume stays only on one side every time starting car

I bought this unit during Cyber Monday, thinking it was a great deal for wireless Apple CarPlay. After installation, I was impressed by the display quality and responsiveness. The wireless feature worked well and automatically paired with my '05 Volvo XC70. However, after a week of use, I began to encounter some bugs. Since my car uses a CANBUS system, the buttons on the unit wouldn't light up when it's dark, and I had to go into the settings to turn on the LEDs. I wish they would just stay on automatically. Additionally, there's a bug where after the car has been off for a day, the balance settings change to play audio only from the driver's side speakers. This is incredibly annoying and I have to go into the settings to change it back to normal. The sound quality is good and the speakers get loud, but it's not easy to adjust the bass settings. The worst issue I had was that, about three weeks in, the Bluetooth completely stopped working and I couldn't pair any devices. This means that I had to use a USB cable for CarPlay, defeating the purpose of buying a wireless unit. If you want CarPlay with a nice screen that is affordable, this unit might work for you, but be aware of the constant bugs. Sometimes it's better to pay more for a quality unit that isn't buggy.

At this time I give it a 5 star rating because it is great for the price and is very easy to operate. Makes my stock speakers sound great and the apps are great to have at a touch of a finger. I would buy it again.

I have to center the balance and fade almost every time I get in the truck. It will often keep acting like a call is going after you hang up, you have to turn the truck off and on to listen to music again. Bluetooth will often show connected but no sound, truck off and on, hope it works need time. Often dims all the way down, then it's hard to see to get it brightened up. I miss having a volume knob also.

I see some back and forth comments about this product, but if you keep in mind the drastic price point between this radio and other double din units, this one is amazing. Carplay, android auto, and all the other radio features for ~$60 is unheard of. Sure the wireless connection is spotty but I plug my phone in anytime I'm in the car always. The are a few times the audio defaults to only left speakers and I have to correct it. This using it in a vehicle I only use sometime and mostly for long drives. If i was getting in and out, turning it on and off everyday I could see these things being annoying. All in all I would buy this for any second vehicle I have

Very smooth ! Not like the other Chinese head unit that use zlink app to mirror apple carplay.... I have not set up the backup camera as yet but zero complaints! Bring life to my 08 car

Really wanted to like this Head unit, unfortunately it just fails. The good it's android, the Bluetooth connects easy and is the best sound you'll get out of this unit is thru the Bluetooth. The radio reception was just awful and the stations that did come in, well the sound was like 1D, 2D at best, no stereo at all. The cons, well lots of them, the biggest ones that are critical are when you shut of the car the unit shuts off immediately compared to other stereos (JVC) I've had in the same car. The EQ and filter is worthless if you have a sub using the sub output channel, the only thing the EQ and filter adjusts is the front and rear speakers. The unit standby is worthless anything over an hour it just shuts down and it's a multi step process to get back to playing music from Bluetooth, even if you do turn your car on before it shuts off it won't auto play anything it just goes to the main screen that you can't customize. It doesn't remember your last screen config so if you have the screen split it doesn't remember that, simply fails to deliver. not to mention after a week of use it began malfunctioning. The plastic screen is soft, flexible and easily scratched. Lots more but you get the picture. If you really want the android experience buy a tablet and Bluetooth it to a real head unit like the Kenwood DMX706 you can connect 5 devices at once and it has a quick access button to switch between any device. So until these units can perform those simple tasks I wouldn't waste your money.

All i looked for was for sound quality and i got it!! great DPS settings.. not like the ordinary android units... dispaly is impressing and performance also excellent which are added credts for me.. thank you maker!!

Poor quality product.

It worked as described in the site for few days and it starts to act weird first the physical button stopped working and then the software on pressing the home and the app drawer on the touch screen it goes to radio without any reason. Please don't buy.
