I have a recliner motor but its only indicates model -jldq, no other version, the cable ends are different, am i able to use this one??

Yes, it comes with different ends to connect to what ever ends your motor might have

You need to get the model number of the motor itself, which is shown in the upper right-hand corner on the product label on the motor (black cylinder shaped component). Then look up the recliner motor by typing in "recliner motor model xxxxxx". Removal/replacement is easy; I did mine in less than a half hour. Usually 4 screws (or bolts), and a metal pin held in by a cotter pin, and disconnecting/reconnecting a few wires. Check the pics of the motor on Amazon to make sure there are the same number and type of connectors, and that the parts both look the same. DON'T pay to have it done, as it is expensive to have someone else do it because either they will charge a fee just to come to your home, or you will have to take the chair to their shop. I could only find one company in town that even does such repairs. Good luck!

Use the screws/bolts that come with this (dont reuse the old ones)

Bought hoping it would work with my grandmas powere recliner. Worked perfectly once i got my husband to use the screws that came with it instead of the old ones we took off. Lol

Works but for how long

Works as it should. Upon opening the box the wires appear to have been bent and will not last long. Being this is a vacation home and I am leaving to go north i had no choice but to install this motor in the chair. If i had more time i should have returned it
