Great desk that perfectly matched my needs!
This desk was my saving grace. I had been looking for desks for my office room for over a year. I was bouncing back and forth between a couple of cheap Ikea models and some random ones I found on amazon. I have 2 27 inch monitors and a rather big desktop that I didn't want to have on the floor anymore collecting dust, so I needed to be able to hold a large amount of stuff on the desk and it needed to be sturdy enough to do it. I was almost ready to give up when I saw this desk. The design is rather simple, basically exactly like it looks in the picture, but its very sturdy. I have about 50 pounds of stuff on top of it at all times and have 0 issue so far. I combined this with the Series C:Return/Bridge to make a full wall desk and I have a 50 inch TV on the return. I received the product in October 2016 and was able to build it with no problem. I was home alone at the time so I had to move everything myself and it was definitely not something I would want to carry up stairs alone. Thankfully it was just coming in the door and straight to my office so i was able to drag it. Assembly is easy and took me about an hour. Again I put it together on my own but its a very heavy material, especially the top, so I would recommend some help if you have it available, but it is doable solo. So after 3 months of use the desk is still holding up well. It is slightly higher then I am used to with most desks so you may need a higher chair, but I adjusted fine. The holes in the back are nice for running wires up through and helps a lot with cable management. I mounted an extra long power strip to the back of it underneath an have the cables running to that. Looks nice and keeps everything neat. For the price I would definitely recommend this desk to anyone as long as you don't mind the weight, have the room, and aren't looking for anything designer. Great product!

Heavy and sturdy
I've bought a couple different desks over the years that I've used for hours daily mostly for gaming and whatnot. Lots of desks between $100-$150 that were cheaper particle board with metal frames held together by screws. Most of those desks started to chip and wobble and fall apart after a year or less. They didn't support much weight either and would always shake at the slightest movement. This desk is seriously great for the money. I've had it for about a year and a half now and it's the same as the day I bought it. This thing is HEAVY though, the package was probably like 150-200lbs, so if you are not that strong it may be hard to set up by yourself.. but once it's set up this thing is the tank of tables. It hasn't chipped or scratched or faded or anything yet. Very sturdy I can put my legs up on it and it doesn't shake. It's held together by pegs and the weight of the top laying down on the sides. It supports my two mid-sized speakers and monitor. If I didn't know any better I'd say this was made of real wood. I've seen people put nice plastic covers on top too which I might do if over the years I end up damaging the top. Bang for buck this thing is legit. Size is great too! Buy it!

Overall a good solid desk
I used to just use a 6ft foldable table with a 4ft foldable table in an L shape at a corner, it gave tons of space and could kick my feet up on the L side, was nice. But then I moved and decided to get something not so cheap looking since at my new place I'd be having clients over. Got this table and it arrived with one small dent on the surface but luckily on the backside that is covered by my monitors. It was all pretty straight forward to assemble, the one tip I'd give is if you're following the instruction manual, it stupidly tells you to put the 4 round foot things on the bottom of the desk AFTER you've assembled the whole thing, making you have to left this 100lb desk up to screw them in. I'd advise putting those in at the first step of the manual. Instructions are pretty clear unless you're not very bright since it doesn't label everything. As for the desk, I have my 30inch primary monitor, my wacom tablet, keyboard, plenty of area for my mouse, a small desktop hutch thing with my 24inch secondary monitor on that, 5.1 speaker system with the bass all on the desk spread out with the wires nicely hidden from view mostly, and room for my macbook and a few other things to be up on it too. The nice thing is theres about 3 inches of space behind the back panel so I could fit my battery power surge in that space and keep it out of view and snake all the plugs to it so only my pc tower is under the desk. Doesn't seem like the surface will scratch easily, has a glossy feel and look so will be easy to clean but it shows every fingerprint smudge ever. That's probably the biggest con about this desk. The only other thing is I wish there was a hole in the back center to put wires through as I have a ton going through just the left side. Overall I recommend this desk highly especially with the free shipping otherwise it'd be another 100 or more to ship this much weight. EDIT: changed from 4 stars to 5 stars 11/18/14 after over a year of use, the glossy finish is actually great and I've realized it's better than other finishes that would scratch easily or go dull. The construction is still solid. Really fantastic desk for the price, highly recommended.

Slightly disappointed
Was expecting more from this desk as I've purchased Bush furniture in the past. Desk was easy to put together for two people (me and hubby). Was disappointed in the finish on the desk top. There are scratches, one corner is dented and cracked and this is also one place where the finish appears cracked. I'm past the return date but likely wouldn't have tried to return it anyway as it is large and heavy. Will polish with Old English dark wood scratch cover and see if that helps. I have enough things on the desk to cover most of the imperfections. Overall, I'm happy with the desk, just not the finish. It's very sturdy and I like the color.

High Quality, Bomb-Proof Design for Amazingly Low Price
It's not easy to get 5 stars out of me, but this desk exceeded all my expectations. Simple design with high quality parts and materials. Quick and easy to assemble and will be easy to move in the future as it will easily come apart into just four flat pieces. The assembled desk is very solid and very stable. The surface is consistently smooth and flat and the "feet" can be adjusted to ensure the desk is level. The laminate appears to be high quality and durable. It should have no problem with moisture and I suspect it will be pretty resistant to dings and scratches. The bottom of the desk is pre-drilled to mount a variety of optional drawers and for returns and corner pieces to make a L or U-shaped desk. Although the add-ons are silly expensive compared to the shell. It's a bomb-proof, super-simple design at a give-away price when considering the quality.

Just what I want, but problems with shipping
I have been using a desk whose top measures 27x48, and it was just too small. This desk is exactly what I wanted. It can be very simple, with just the ends, modesty panel, and top. Or you can add stuff to it as you like. The problem: The package seems to have been dropped on a corner, and the desktop in that corner was damaged. The material around the edge was scraped and the "was-wood" innards of the desk top were flaking. The whole package weighs in the neighborhood of 140 pounds, making drops by anybody who handles the package more likely. And there is barely any protective material inside. I wrote to Cymax, the vendor for this desk, and reported the problem. Today is day 15 and still no new desk top. Cymax has been very good about answering my many emails. They are pointing the finger at the manufacturer, Bush. It is reasonable to assume the problem is Bush's. Moral of the story: It's a great desk. Be prepared to wait for replacement parts because it's very likely to arrive damaged. UPDATE (9/5/2014): I've had this desk for 4 months now, and I love it. I can put put two flatscreen monitors and two laptops on the desk at once and still have room for papers. Just what I wanted. One extra note: I found I needed an extra "porthole" in the middle of the desktop near the back edge, so I went to Home Depot, got a 2.5" hole saw and a nice little plastic thingie to go in the hole. I also built a 3.5"-deep shelf into the modesty panel as a track for cords, "wall warts", etc. Now it's almost perfect. Still 3 stars, due to the shipping problems.

It's very sturdy and I feel like this will make it through ...
Really solid desk! It's heavier than I expected, but I totally welcome that surprise. It's very sturdy and I feel like this will make it through quite a few moves with me. The only thing I didn't like was the actual surface of the top piece. Not that there was anything wrong with it, but I'm using this as a gaming desk. So I ended up buying 10 feet of carbon fiber vinyl wrap and it ended up looking AMAZING (see pics). Construction was easy. It only took me about 30 minutes by myself. I would say if you can't lift 80ish pounds easily by yourself, you should definitely get someone to help you lift the top piece onto the frame (that's the last step for assembly). The desk definitely feels like it will hold quite a bit of weight. I have 3 monitors and none of them shake or anything while I type aggressively on my keyboard. As I previously mentioned, I'm using this desk as a gaming station. The surface area is absolutely plentiful. I can fit a lot on the top without worrying about real estate. I highly recommend this desk. Even if you don't like the aesthetic of the top piece, you can spend $20-30 on a vinyl wrap and make it look like however you want.
