It was a surprise how good
Was pleasantly surprised by the soup. The flavor was very good. Maybe better than Campbells, I feel Campbells does not the same taste or quality it use to. I was surprised by the actual pieces of mushrooms in it and not just brown specks that the red and white can has. The reasonable price is another reason why I plan on making it a regular purchase. It is also making me willing to try the flavors.

Good flavor
Tastes just like all the other condensed soup brands. Easy to use. We usually add to noodles and meat for a meal.

not too salty, delicate flavor, very thick (condensed), reasonable price, peel back lid
I like Happy Belly brand, never have been wholly disappointed, so I continue to try various products. This cream of mushroom soup is pretty good and arrived quicker than expected. It is definitely condensed. I could turn the can over and it didnt budge. I remembered to take a pic only after I had stuck a spoon in it, but even disturbed it stayed in place (which I then took a pic). Flavor is not super strong, which I kind of prefer. I like using cream of mushroom for the texture it adds to pasta, rice, as a gravy of the sorts. As much as I love mushrooms, many mushroom soups will have an odd flavor to me. This has a more delicate flavor. I like it. I would buy it again so long as the price remains reasonable (currently $0.88 per can, or less depending on discounts). Not too salty either. Worth a try anyway. peel back flip top lid.

Amazon has really closed the gap
I tried Amazon's Cream of Mushroom Soup in the past and I remember it being darker in color and thinner in consistency. It was levels below the Campbell's equivalent I grew up on. Even grocery stores' private labelled product was better by comparison. After seeing all the current positive reviews, I decided to give it another shot and I'm so glad I did. We lucked out and received cans that were free of dents. The formula is closer to the condensed Campbell's product we all know and love. I use the soup as a component to many dishes and the taste is equal as far as I can tell. Also, the current price is excellent compared to Campbell's on sale in-store. We will absolutely be adding this to future Subscribe & Save deliveries.

Wonderful
A million times better than comparable national brand and our store brands. There are actual identifiable pieces of mushrooms.

Good storage food
Not healthier than Campbells soup, but it’s a cheap item to put away in your kitchen

Works Well in Recipes Like Green Bean Casserole!
Since other brands of cream of mushroom soup use palm oil now and I'm allergic to it I decided to try this soup and it works well in recipes like green bean casserole. All I do is add the can of soup to two cans of drained cut green beans in a microwave safe casserole dish and add in a little splash of milk and some freshly ground Tellicherry peppercorns. Mix it up and microwave just until warm - a few minutes. Then use mitts to take it out of the microwave and put some French Fried onions (which have a little palm oil but I try to not eat much of them) on top and put it in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes watching closely so onions don't overcook. Voila! A nice side dish for ham or turkey! My husband noticed I'd made one of his favorite sides and was quite happy with the dinner I made him. Thanks amazon for always making my day!!! ~The Rebecca Review
