Quiet stout motor
Seems like a good fan. I hope it lasts. Have used flexalite, Chinese special and mishimoto. This one is the quietest and seems to move better air than big cfm China brand. Metal motor housing seems stout. Lifetime warranty canโt go wrong. By used one save 125.00. I did. Like it so far.

Better than cheaper fans. Actually keeps my v8 truck cool.
I replaced my mechanical cooling fan about 8 months ago. I thought it would free up horsepower and reduce parasitic losses. It did, but the fan was not enough to keep my truck cool. It was also very loud. It sounded like the siren from the original Ectomobile from the 1984 Ghostbusters movie. The slowly creeping temperatures and obnoxious noise were tolerable in the winter.. but as temperatures warmed up and the weather got nicer, I needed a replacement. I was a little hesitant to order another, but this fan plugged right in to my other connections, and the coolant temperatures actually drop when the motor is running. This mishimoto is a great replacement fan. It is quiet and it flows more air than my previous parts-store-special fan. It does everything that I need it to do, and it does it well. I am not concerned about my vehicle's cooling anymore. The truck in question is a 1992 GMC Sierra C1500. It has a 350cid v8 engine.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
I put this on my 1962 Lincoln Continental with the relay kit. It moves a TON of air, and keeps if super cool! Pretty quiet too! I barely hear it inside the car with the windows down sitting there and I don't even have insulation under my hood. It is an amazing radiator and did an amazing job all summer long!

Works well but wonder about authenticity
This seems like a nice heavy duty fan and it cools my Jeep nicely. However, it differs from the one in the photos and I question whether itโs an actual Mishimoto or whether itโs a knock-off. I bought a Mishimoto installation kit separately and that had Mishimoto written all over it, on the instructions, the sealed bag containing the relay, the box itself etc. But the fan only had a sticker on the box and doesnโt say Mishimoto anywhere else. No logo on the fan and the instructions simply say โ16 inch reversible electric fanโ. Which this fan is clearly not reversible. On the bottom of the fan, thereโs only a small gold sticker that says โMade in Chinaโ. I contacted the seller and they claim it was shipped directly from Mishimoto. I wish there was a way I could verify that. I thought about returning it but I guess Iโll take my chances with it since Iโve installed it and it works. To spend this much $$ and get a likely knock-off is irritating but itโs not the first time itโs happened with Amazon sellers. The fan seems to work well and hopefully it lasts as long as an actual Mishimoto, which is what I paid for. Buyer beware.

Great fans
Great fans. They really push some air. I've got a 2 core 34" aluminum radiator and the fans keeps the radiator cool. Everytime the fans kicks on, it sounds like I have a jet engine under the hood

It works well.
I like that itโs really quiet, canโt hear when it comes on even with the windows down

It's OK
I replaced my $30 off-brand 16" fan with the Mishimoto 16" and my temps dropped 5 degrees F. This is an improvement, but is it worth $160? This was installed on a 4L i6 Jeep TJ with a 180F thermostat and this fan keeps the engine at 210F sitting still at 100F outside.
