Why is the word Forever crossed out?

Hello, the word "Forever" is only crossed out on the online images, to prevent counterfeiting. The real stamps do not have the line through the word "Forever".

Was your mail returned with these stamps?

Not sure I understand the question. These are genuine "Made of Heart" stamps in a sleeve of 20.
