Absolutely the best resin I've used, and more for your money. I'm ordering my 3rd batch of it. Just a shame it's often out of stock. Clear resin, easy to weigh out. Runnier than others but if you leave it a while will thicken if you need it to. Hardly any smell, sets quickly and able to demould in less than 24 hours. I'm just about to try the deep pour as I'm so impressed with this make. Bubbles also disperse by themselves quickly. Would defo recommend. Why did you choose this product over others?: Cheaper for larger amount. Great quality, bubbles disperse quickly, unless you are adding flowers, which you can pop with cocktail stick.

i haven't tested the product yet but what i received looks like a quality product. well packaged and the supplied gloves were not the expected flimsy plastic ones, but proper work gloves. a multilingual glossy instruction booklet is supplied with it and it is clear and easy to understand, unlike the poor chinese translations we are used to. i'll come back and adjust my feedback when i've had a chance to test it both in casting and laminating EDIT: laminating... not a chance! Sets way too slowly to be practical. Casting though was flawless, takes a LONG time to set fully but water clear no problem

Used this item to repair my shower tray that was built in and would be very expensive to rip out and replace, it did a fantastic job, the only thing, and it’s nothing to do with the product!!! I could get a fall towards the shower trap so there is a little bit of standing water in the tray but I can live with that,

I have only done a few small projects so far with this resin however, it definitely does have a yellowish tinge if you either try to pour more than a 1.5cm depth in one go or use a lighter a little too enthusiastically. The thinner items I have done are clear with no yellow cast on them. I had no major issues with bubbles even without the lighter and in fact found less bubbles in this than my more expensive resin. The bottles I found difficult to pour from for small projects so am adding some pumps to make this easier and less wasteful. All in all a great value resin with few issues as long as you follow the mixing and pouring guidelines. I would say be prepared to take more time for larger projects and allow each layer to fully cure before pouring the next. Fyi I mixed mine by weight not volume as that's what the guidelines said and it worked great for me. To get around the issue of not being able to use the lighter I warm the resin and hardner in a crock pot I use only for resin for around 45 mins starting in cold water. Once fully mixed I also returned the mixed resin to the hot water (carefully so as to no introduce any moisture) for a few more minutes. Crystal clear results but much lower pot life with this method. Needs to be somewhere warm to cure as well, I left the remnants in a colder room and while it did eventually cure it took three times as long. Hope this all helps as this is great resin to keep costs down especially for beginners.

GUTTED - Ordered and received my kit at the end of March 2020. Wanted to order more on 8 Apr 2020, but the seller (a German Company) is no longer trading on Amazon. I'm still digging to find out if I can buy their resin elsewhere. First things, first: MIX IT FOR NO LESS THAN 3 MINUTES! I have seen many posts on social media that the resin is cloud/streaky when hard/cured; the two components must be mixed well for no less than three minutes. Make sure your room temperature is between 18 and 22 degrees centigrade (as with nearly all epoxy resins). I use a pressure pot to extinguish any bubbles, but, like with any resin, if you are very careful and gently warm up (not heat up) the resin part of the mixture in a basin (no more than hand-hot temperature), then the resin will increase in fluidity and have less opportunity to catch and hold air as you mix. I have seen videos of people who say that you should use plastic or polyester stirrers and not wood ones, but the fact is that it's all in the stirring. Gentle stirring will produce less bubbles. The resin hardly smells at all - and any odour is not pungent, unlike polyester resin (which absolutely stinks). Hardening time: well, that all depends on what temperature the room is. However, this resin does product an exothermic reaction at all thicknesses, so be careful. All, in all, the resultant product IS water-clear; I sand the hardened cast with 120 (you can start on 240 grit!), 180, 240, 320, 400, 500 and 600 grit Abranet strips, then wet sanded with Micro Mesh pads from 1500 through to 12000 grits. Following this, I polish with T-Cut, then (in my case) Maguire's car polish. The final result is GLASS-LIKE!

I am very disappointed, I've mainly bought this product for sealing stones and other small similar projects, but it's been a complete disaster. First, I've noticed that the Resin bottle part I've received was a yellowish colour... I've followed the instructions given, but the result was a very uneven seal, runny in some parts, wavy in others. A real pain to fix afterwards, and some of my pieces have been ruined ! Perhaps as casting it is not that bad, but like I said above, the resin was out of date. I wasted money, I will not buy again. I will go back to cheaper resins which are surely doing a much better job. Check the batch date before opening it !

This resin is fabulous, mixes very easy and goes clear after about 90 seconds of mixing (but still mix for 3mins). The resin is quite thin and therefore the colours may run more and not very good for covering a canvas for example as it just runs off, although it is self leveling. Found this very good for casting and coasters or dishes. Dries to a tough, clear, shiny finish.. Which is what everyone wants. I also found that on some pours it left a film or scaley like bits but think that's due to the room temp being too low.

Good epoxy Resin. Will not melt polystyrene

Ich wollte schon immer einmal Kunstharz ausprobieren und habe mich aufgrund der guten Rezensionen für dieses Angebot entschieden. Die Gebrauchsanweisung auf den Behältern war völlig ausreichend. Die Anwendung verlief ohne Probleme und hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Ich habe hierzu getrocknete Blütenblätter in eine Silikonform gegeben, Harz (100g) und Härter (50g) vermischt (Schön langsam rühren, ansonsten entstehen Bläschen!), das Gemisch kurz stehen gelassen und anschließend in die Form gegossen. Die Oberfläche habe ich mit einem Heißluftfön bearbeitet, um entstandene Bläschen zu entfernen. Nach 24 Stunden waren die Buchstaben auch schon hart genug, um sie problemlos aus der Form zu heben. Ich habe weder Silikonöl noch sonstige Produkte verwendet - das Harz klebte nicht am Silikon. Wenn mein Produkt aufgebraucht ist, werde ich auf jeden Fall noch einmal bestellen. Ich bin begeistert und würde am liebsten sofort weiter basteln.
