Nice, but base isn’t quite large enough to cover octagonal box
These lights are very pretty, and have a nice heft to them. But beware because they do not cover a standard old-work octagonal box. The base just isn’t quite large enough so I will have to do additional spackling, essentially covering the edges of the old-work box. I install a lot of light fixtures for work, and this is the first sconce that hasn’t covered the box.

Beautiful light fixture.
These sconces are beautiful and perfect. They make your house classy. The funny thing is that the instruction in the manual has nothing to do with these lights. They just copied it from the other light fixture so you have to figure out how to install them by yourself. However it is not hard to install and you have everything included for your installation. I love these light fixtures.

Read carefully, these require wiring installation
I thought when I thought them that they could just need to be attached to the wall with screws. No, they need to be hardwired. I was waiting for my regular handyman to do the job (he was delayed for health reasons), and then it turned out they couldn't be installed where I needed them. By then the return window had closed. Not the end of the world, but aggravating. So yeah, definitely check that you'll be able to get them installed.
